Harry's Boat house was a perfect place to rest after a tiring day at Highlands. it had all the facilities one can wish for. Fully functional kitchen, well equipped bedrooms such as tea, coffe, kettle, washrooms with all the facilities such has hand-wash, shower gels were provided. Clean place with proper heating and hot water supply. We came as a big group and booked all the rooms. Everybody liked the rooms and facilities. We didn't have any complaints. The breakfast was also warm and on time. Highly recommended Madiha Glasgow

The Boat House is a professional B&B guest house and is the most casual and homely professional place I have ever stayed in. Harry gives freely from his mine of information about his beloved Scotland. Nothing was too much trouble, the welcome was warm, (even though we did arrive quite late) the facilities are good and Poppy, their dog, was as friendly as the people. There are many things to see within striking distance of the house, there is a pub, restaurant and cafe just along the road, within easy walking distance, and Aviemore, a bigger centre with supermarket, shops etcetera is a long walk or short drive away. All in all the stay was pleasant and informative. Definitely recommended.

Really enjoyed staying at the church and experiencing the countryside. The gardens around the building are phenomenal and super lovely to walk through. Would recommend the place just for the gardens. The room itself is very comfy, clean, and homey. Also, it was great for our needs. Our toddler slept in the second bed in the room. The check-in process was a little cumbersome but Kris was lovely, gave lots of good recommendations, and was friendly whenever we saw him.

Schöne, saubere Unterkunft. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Harry ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The Boathouse Guest house was an ideal stop along our cycling tour of Scotland. It's located in the heart of town and not far from some beautiful walking trails and cycle route 7. Harry was a lovely host and made us an amazing breakfast! The room itself was very comfortable. A little dated, but well maintained and clean. Would love to visit again!

Harry was very welcoming. The location of the place was perfect for us - close to the community hall where we were attending a wedding cèilidh. DELICIOUS breakfast and very generous portions. A quiet room and we slept well. Thank you!

We needed at short notice a room that three of us could use overnight during a trip to the north of Scotland. The room met all our requirements and was just what we needed. Craig and Hazel met us upon arrival, were very friendly and willing to answer any questions albeit we left early so never had a chance to say goodbye in the morning.

Susan and Derry provided the absolute best hospitality experience I’ve ever had. The B&B was stunning, the bedroom and en suites were impeccable - but besides everything being top of the line, Susan and Derry were very welcoming, hospitable and just wanted to make sure I had the best time. They offered me transportation so I could get around without having to worry about taxis and being able to do a distillery tour and a joy myself. I hope to visit again very very soon - THANK YOU for everything

Harry’s place was just you expect from a highlands bnb. Harry and his wife were very helpful. They were able to save me some time by washing AND drying a small load of laundry for me. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of food. But the best thing about this bnb is Harry himself. He had an answer to my numerous questions and had many helpful tips about the area. I can’t wait to get back to Boat of Garten and Harry’s place.
