We had such an enjoyable stay we didnt want to leave! All agreed we would stay here again - such a beautiful quiet retreat. Steve was a responsive host with detailed instructions for checkin/checkout. It made everything perfect for my family.

Amanda’s place was so comfortable and such a great location! She went above and beyond to reach out beforehand and while we were there if we needed anything. The driveway was plowed before we arrived and even once the weekend we were there after a big snow storm. She was a great host and that alone is enough to make us want to come back.

Amazing host who made special accommodations for my family’s needs. Will definitely be using Rick again next time I’m in Skowhegan.

We loved our stay at Jason’s place! We had 10 total people staying for Labor Day weekend - 7 adults, 3 kids and a dog. We all had plenty of room, the house was gorgeous - especially the kitchen and living room! We used the pool, the lake (kayaks and canoes - lots of life jackets to choose from), the basketball court and were so thankful for the option to rent the pontoon boat! My son had a great time fishing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We also had fun checking out nearby antique shops one morning & going into Bangor one evening for dinner. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Cheryl and Ambers place. Prompt response always. Great view of sugar loaf mountain. The pool was a bonus. There place had all the essentials you need. I only have a few minor complaints it was very hot with no AC. There was only one fan and no screen doors. Also it could use a deep cleaning. Other than that our stay was great very quiet and relaxing.

Abigail’s place is perfect. Cozy, serene, and beautiful. You feel immediately at home when you walk in, the view from the windows is incredible. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch, looking out at the water, and watching for wildlife. The rooms were pristine and the pillows were beyond comfy. The addition across the kitchen was the ultimate place to lounge and relax - kid friendly too with day beds. We had a great experience and I can’t recommend this place enough. Our host left a couple of personalized touches which made the trip feel that much more special. Thank you Abigail for a great experience!

Beautiful home just minutes from the center of town. We enjoyed all the home had to offer especially the views!

Beautiful cabin by the lake! It exceeded my expectations, very clean and also our kitten loved the place, the place is very charming and the owners are super attentive. Highly recommended

Jared was an awesome host. He accommodated us arriving early, had spots cleared out for our sleds and vehicles, gave me updates on the snow conditions..which was insanely helpful! The house was just as described, clean and everything was in great working order..very comfortable for our group. Superb communication and an overall excellent experience. We will be renting with Jared again next season and for many more to come!

Sarah went above and beyond for my fiancé and I. We stayed in her cabin for our anniversary and we were greeted by a lovely vase of flowers, s’mores fixings, and a beautiful card. Though we checked out June 2nd she made sure we had kayaks for our entire visit (only available starting June) and dry firewood! She was extremely kind and responsive. The property was stunning and matched the photos. We felt very much at home and will be staying again in the future! Thank you Sarah for letting us stay at your family camp!

Really enjoyed Patty and Dave’s beautiful cabin! It was well stocked with kitchen items, utensils and extras like spices, oils that you don’t always find. The space was cozy and very clean. After a lot of hiking on a few consecutive day, we stayed and relaxed in their yard and deck which was a great treat. The hot tub was easy to open and turn on and sparkling clean. Highly recommend this place for a couple!

This house is STUNNING! We really enjoyed our time in such a cozy, fully stocked space. It made our winter getaway just perfect and we will absolutely be back :)

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We just spent a few days at this chalet with the family, and we were honestly amazed—the place is even more beautiful in person than what you see in the pictures. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy quality time together. The chalet was clean, cozy, and surrounded by nature. We felt right at home the entire stay. You can tell the place is cared for with love. It’s simple, peaceful, and just what we were looking for. We’re already talking about coming back!

I love this house! Peaceful and comfortable. Very well furnished. Nathalie is super friendly and responds quickly to questions. In cold weather, the wood-burning oven heats the house efficiently, and wood is provided! Very picturesque area 12 months a year.

We had a great time - easy access to sugarloaf and restaurants in town! Beautiful river in the back. Great in all seasons.

You cannot beat the location of this property. If you're interested in boating, fishing, or wildlife watching, it doesn't get any better than this. The property itself has all the amenities you'd need for a vacation, including a fully stocked kitchen kitchen, comfortable furniture, and all the linens you'd need.
