Exceptional river views

n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

Ideally located in a peaceful setting to explore the entire Loire Valley, its castles, and its excellent wines, near Chinon, a charming historic town, this accommodation is nestled on the edge of a forest, close to the Loire à Vélo cycling route. It offers 2 bedrooms, a parking space right in front of the house, and plenty of great advice on visits, restaurants, and more! Its atmosphere in winter is especially cozy. Pets are welcome. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids). Completely refurbished ,classified 3 stars furnished with tourist accommodation, the accommodation is composed of a 30 m2 main room where there is an equipped kitchen and a sofa bed with easy opening with a real 140 mattress, a 14 m2 bedroom with its 160 X 200 bed and a shower room.
