Belonging to the region of Campo de Montiel, province of Ciudad Real, between La Mancha and Sierra Morena, Villamanrique is a place to rest, to get carried away by its particular landscape and sunsets. Villamanrique, with an approximate population of 1600 inhabitants, has a unique landscape, transition between the cereal plain of the Manchego steppe and the picturesque Paleozoic terrain of Sierra Morena. It is furrowed by numerous seasonal streams and flanked by castles and towers with centuries of history behind it. Born-place and passage of the renowned Ruta del Quijote, Villamanrique and Campo de Montiel are lands where Spanish culture and literature has grown. Lands that have seen the birth of the immortal knight walking four centuries ago and that, today, has magnificent landscapes, with an artistic and natural heritage of the first order. The distinguished Church of San Andrés Apóstol observes with splendour the natural surroundings of the municipality. Other points such as "La Casa Grande", or also known as "La Casa de los Manrique", declared of cultural interest with the category of monument stand out next to this 16th-century parish church. In this house lived the poet Jorge Manrique, author of the famous work "Coplas a la muerte de su padre". But not all are natural landscapes that fall in love with everyone who steps on the place, nor is it just history, literature and culture. The gastronomy of the town is based on the countryside, on its production, on the natural. In Villamanrique you can enjoy Spanish and Manchego cuisine in all its splendour and you will try dishes such as gazpacho manchego, miguelitos, migas, or pisto. The village of Hornos is declared a Conjunto Historico, it is pedestrian, although you can upload and download luggage. In its streets decorated with pots and flowers, walking gives us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the essence of the rural world. The situation of the house, in the center of the Natural Park of Cazorla, Segura and the Villas, allows us to visit it by making 3 radial routes from Hornos.

Equipped kitchen (gas stove, refrigerator, Italian and capsule coffee maker, microwave) open to the dining room, spacious room and fully equipped bathroom. It has a private patio with a barbecue and a small table to enjoy the outdoors. The house has heating for the winter but air conditioning is not necessary because it is very cool. It has hot water too

Floren’s place is a beautiful property where you can spend a relaxing holiday with family or your partner. We had a great time relaxing poolside and using the barbecue. It’s perfectly located to visit places in La Mancha and easy access to all restaurants in the town. Floren is the perfect host and made sure that we were looked after and all our needs were met. He was always proactive and communicated very well. We were never left in the dark. Would definitely visit again.

The house is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The village's surroundings are quiet and picturesque, ideal for disconnecting, although there is also much to discover in the area (hermitage of Our Lady of the Vega, naval archive...). María José and Ángela are lovely, and they were very attentive. 100% recommended
