Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Montes de Oca

I had a wonderful stay at Zaida’s place in San José! The room was beautiful, and the view of the garden made everything feel so welcoming and homey. It was super clean and had everything I needed—including a washing machine, dryer, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic—very clean, safe, and surrounded by markets, cafés, and plenty of great restaurants. Zaida is an amazing host—so kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. I was working from there most of the time, and it was the perfect spot to focus and recharge. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Tanto Alberto como Javier, su esposo son espectaculares anfitriones siempre dispuestos a ayudar y conversar. La habitación es tal cual la describen y una vez a la semana llega una señora a hacer limpieza, por tanto la casa siempre está limpia. Igualmente hay ciertas cosas que hay que tomar en cuenta antes de ser huésped con Beto: 1. Beto y Javier son personas muy sociables por tanto casi todos los fines de semana se reúnen con sus amigos en la casa. 2. El desayuno ofrecido por Beto, es una cortesía, y es de lo mismo que ellos desayunen. 3. Artículos personales como pasta dental, jabón, shampoo, etc no se cubre, así que debes comprarlo por tu cuenta. 4. Solo hay un baño y ducha. Si eres una persona que se necesita la ducha a una hora exacta, debes coordinarlo con los anfitriones.

Arleen’s house was amazing, even better than the photos. The house was large and comfortable. It was well stocked and easy to feel right at home. The garden & patio were beautiful and really made the home unique. It was so private & peaceful. Good location, with easy access to anywhere. Walking distance to good restaurants & Barrio Escalante. Communication with Arleen was always smooth & easy. She was very proactive & made sure I had all the information I needed for a great trip. 100% would recommend staying here!

Love this place! Note that you are in the middle of the community if you pick this specific room. If you crave privacy, there are other rooms - but for me, this is perfect 🥰 Take a Uber if you don’t want to walk! They are easy and pretty affordable 🙏 Felt really well taken care of as I arrived in the airport and Charlotte helped me to find my way to the place and got the room ready for me extra early - thank youuuu! 🙏🥳

Good place to stay in a good location. The buildings very nice. Can be very noisy due to the trains (especially early morning until night) Host was communicative Be aware that replacements for items may not always be available (this is understandable) but could be inconvenient.

I recently had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful apartment in San José, and it continues to exceed my expectations. The location is unbeatable. It is close to my work. Additionally, it's conveniently situated with a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping options just a short walk away. The apartment itself is always impeccably clean and well-furnished, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I felt right at home during my stay. Moreover, the neighborhood is extremely safe, which adds an extra layer of peace of mind. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting San José. It has consistently provided me with a great experience, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Guido gave us detailed instructions for check-in and was really helpful with a last min request. View of the studio is nice and the building staff are great. Good location too!

Nice place, well equipped, good help from host. Unfortunately, with so many walls being windows the place doesn't insulate from noise very well - but it does get a bit hot. But great views, and a pretty quiet neighborhood.

I said that Giovanni’s during my first trip to Costa Rica. Location was great. There were tons of things to do nearby. The building is very secure and the food was really good. Downstairs at the pasta bar, but also nearby restaurants never takes more than four or five minutes for an Uber to arrive at the condo. Definitely work. Price and I will definitely stay there again. Next time that I’m in San Jose.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, well appointed, very very clean and in a vibrant and walkable neighborhood. The host is kind and responds quickly.

Comfortable place with great pool and nice neighborhood. Lots of great restaurants. Good parking.

We have stayed in many apartments in the Escalante and Los Yoses area of San Jose. This is the only one we have found that is reasonably QUIET! We were not awakened by the train beginning at 5:00 am or the road noise beginning at 6:00 am. In addition, it has great views of the city and has comfortable furniture and an effective floor plan. It is a great apartment that we will seek to rent every time we come to San Jose! Ed and Javier are wonderful hosts who work themselves, not a rental agency. They responded to inquiries immediately and were proactive. They were very committed to creating a wonderful experience.

The apartment was great. Everything was nice and clean. What really stands out was the bath towels most places have small cheap bath towels. Robert bath towels for the real nice heavy duty, large towels, and there was four of them. The other outstanding feature was the kitchen towels. There were several yellow kitchen towels. The place was easy to get in and out of no problem whatsoever. The people were very friendly. Robert responded very quickly.. I would rate this apartment above most of the others that I stayed at.
