I had a wonderful stay at Zaida’s place in San José! The room was beautiful, and the view of the garden made everything feel so welcoming and homey. It was super clean and had everything I needed—including a washing machine, dryer, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic—very clean, safe, and surrounded by markets, cafés, and plenty of great restaurants. Zaida is an amazing host—so kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. I was working from there most of the time, and it was the perfect spot to focus and recharge. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Both Alberto and Javier, her husband, are spectacular hosts always willing to help and talk. The room is as described and once a week a lady comes to clean, so the house is always clean. There are also certain things to consider before being a guest with Beto: 1. Beto and Javier are very sociable people so they meet with their friends at the house almost every weekend. 2. The breakfast offered by Beto is a courtesy, and it is the same as what they have for breakfast. 3. Personal items such as toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc. are not covered, so you must purchase them on your own. 4. There is only one bathroom and shower. If you need to use the shower at an exact time, you should coordinate this with the hosts.

Arleen’s house was amazing, even better than the photos. The house was large and comfortable. It was well stocked and easy to feel right at home. The garden & patio were beautiful and really made the home unique. It was so private & peaceful. Good location, with easy access to anywhere. Walking distance to good restaurants & Barrio Escalante. Communication with Arleen was always smooth & easy. She was very proactive & made sure I had all the information I needed for a great trip. 100% would recommend staying here!

Love this place! Note that you are in the middle of the community if you pick this specific room. If you crave privacy, there are other rooms - but for me, this is perfect 🥰 Take a Uber if you don’t want to walk! They are easy and pretty affordable 🙏 Felt really well taken care of as I arrived in the airport and Charlotte helped me to find my way to the place and got the room ready for me extra early - thank youuuu! 🙏🥳

We stayed only one day in San Jose. The apartment was perfect and exactly as listed. We found amazing coffee in walking distance, restaurants, bars and live music. We got lucky in finding a live concert downtown and a cultural festival while walking around. I feel we got a good taste of the city. We will definitely come back!

Good place to stay in a good location. The buildings very nice. Can be very noisy due to the trains (especially early morning until night) Host was communicative Be aware that replacements for items may not always be available (this is understandable) but could be inconvenient.

Great stay at Guido's beautiful flat in a beautiful building. Great views and sunset from the top floor and a lovely little balcony to enjoy in the flat too. Perfect location in a safe area near vegan restaurants and walkable to the city centre too. Our flight was late and no problems checking in at 2am as there is a 24 hour check in desk which was one of the reasons we chose this place. It's true about the train being noisy though it doesn't run on a Sunday so it only bothered us the last morning from about 5am and earplugs did the trick.

I recently had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful apartment in San José, and it continues to exceed my expectations. The location is unbeatable. It is close to my work. Additionally, it's conveniently situated with a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping options just a short walk away. The apartment itself is always impeccably clean and well-furnished, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I felt right at home during my stay. Moreover, the neighborhood is extremely safe, which adds an extra layer of peace of mind. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting San José. It has consistently provided me with a great experience, and I look forward to returning in the future!

It's nice and comfortable

Nice place, well equipped, good help from host. Unfortunately, with so many walls being windows the place doesn't insulate from noise very well - but it does get a bit hot. But great views, and a pretty quiet neighborhood.

I said that Giovanni’s during my first trip to Costa Rica. Location was great. There were tons of things to do nearby. The building is very secure and the food was really good. Downstairs at the pasta bar, but also nearby restaurants never takes more than four or five minutes for an Uber to arrive at the condo. Definitely work. Price and I will definitely stay there again. Next time that I’m in San Jose.

Accessibility to the 100, the perfect location is fabulously out, the place is accurate, cleanliness and wonderful details.

Nice, comfortable place, close to multiple dining options and sights in the capital

I stayed Esteban’s place for 2 months as a digital nomad. Esteban was so kind to let me check it out, and ask questions. He was willing to work with me. His place is in a really great location as it’s in the Barrio Escalante neighborhood and there is so much to do all around it within walking distance. There is a grocery store right across as well as a gas station, Starbucks and Papa Johns. The place itself is very modern and nice and is as pictured. Because of the building design it does get very warm inside during the day, even with the fans provided especially during the rainy season when it’s more humid. The apartment also has a lot to offer as it has a gym, two pools, and movie theatre room. The staff was also very nice and welcoming as well. Overall it’s a great stay and for the price! I would certainly book again!

Everything was excellent

We have stayed in many apartments in the Escalante and Los Yoses area of San Jose. This is the only one we have found that is reasonably QUIET! We were not awakened by the train beginning at 5:00 am or the road noise beginning at 6:00 am. In addition, it has great views of the city and has comfortable furniture and an effective floor plan. It is a great apartment that we will seek to rent every time we come to San Jose! Ed and Javier are wonderful hosts who work themselves, not a rental agency. They responded to inquiries immediately and were proactive. They were very committed to creating a wonderful experience.

Everything was perfect; communication, spotless place, Curridabat is amazing. Nothing bad to say.
