Amazing wild area by the Pyrénées, to be discovered in winter as in summer. 5mn from a beautiful lake where you can navigate with the two seats kayak (included). Roquefixade is a very picturesque village and the accomodation is excellent, with a spectacular outlook. There are lovely walks in the area. We especially enjoyed the chateau circuit and another loop walk to Les Demoiselles. Tom was a very friendly and helpful host.

A tranquil pathway is presented, leading over a small wooden bridge that spans a gently flowing stream. Lush greenery borders the water, while a stone sculpture adds character to the setting. The rustic building and natural surroundings create a serene environment.

The accommodation location is beautiful, with the terrace by the canal in front of a clearing of river grass. The apartment although it is not big is super cozy, everything is thoughtful, nothing is missing and it is nice. Tom is a very attentive host always expecting that nothing fails, and the area of Ariège - l'aude where it is located is a wonder. Hard to beat a place like that.
