Our holiday was everything we could of hoped for and more. We arrived to a delicious welcome basket and Jon made us feel immediately at home. His house is absolutely stunning, with ample space to chill and relax. The kitchen is like home from home, it is fully equipped including coffee machines, juicer and even a waffle machine! The private pool was a massive highlight which our two young girls loved. They loved exploring the garden, playing badminton and they learning to play boules too. Close by there was an incredible bakery, supermarkets and restaurants. The beach at the Lac du Garson was another winner, not forgetting the markets too. We ended the trip on such a high, hiring Jons boat to travel up the Dordoyne which was truly a memorable experience! Jon is an exceptional host. He did everything to make our holiday perfect. From all his recommendations to being on hand if we needed him. Total legend! We cannot wait to come back next summer.

We had a great time at Léa's, very relaxing and even meditative. We lost track of time. We spent our days walking, reading or observing nature and animals. It wasn't easy to return to urban life... We really loved the proximity to all of Léa's animals, the cat even came to visit us several times :) The ambient sounds of nature at night as well as during the day are really soothing, it makes you really want to come and live in the countryside one day. This place exceeded my expectations! The room was super clean and very stylishly decorated. The property was big and surrounded by vineyards, and the garden was so beautiful. Our host, Patricia was the best! She was so friendly and attentive. She made us feel special and made me the best cannole for breakfast!

Stunning house set in vines; pool and tennis court

We were a group of four couples with four babies and had an amazing 8 night stay in the Dordogne! The place is beautiful and perfectly set up for large groups with large dining areas inside and out and each room having its own bathroom. The surrounding area is beautiful and we spent a lot of time exploring the gorgeous towns this area of France has to offer! St Emilion was our favourite and a definite must! Check in and out was particularly easy and we were allowed to both check in early and late to accommodate flight and boat arrival and departure times. Overall a fantastic stay. I couldn’t recommend it enough!
