Cottage vacation rentals in Montaigu-Vendée

Agathe's house was ideal for this weekend with friends. Not far from Saint-Florent-le-Vieil, we took full advantage of the outside and the view of nature, spent an evening at the corner of the stove animated by billiards, and enjoyed a moment in the hot tub when we woke up. Agathe is responsive and considerate. We will not hesitate to come back as soon as the opportunity arises! I highly recommend it.

Beautiful stay on a lovely farm! we slept there for only one night before moving onto puy de fou but we felt right at home. Everything was clean, Sophie was very welcoming and we had a pleasant stay in the middle of nature, there’s enough space for kids to run around and explore. There’s two things that left a very slight bad aftertaste. We came early for the pool but because the pool is connected to another room we only had acces to it until 19h. With some negotiating we stayed a bit longer, luckily our fellow visitors were very welcoming. And at the very start, Sophie changed the price, she added a fair bit. Mistakes are always possible so this isn’t a real remark. We had a lot of fun either way, thanks for opening your house to us, Joppe

At the top of the top,👍 I recommend atypical accommodation, it feels like the little house on the prairie… the birds sing in the morning, we love it. Small coffee with sunrise 🌅 12 min to Puy du Fou 😝

We had a wonderful extended weekend in the cottage, which was well-equipped and clean. Thomas is very attentive, accommodating, and was able to advise us on beautiful visits. The environment of the house is really idyllic, with the river right in front. It was a chance to be able to enjoy the kayaks to explore further... And the pool made the children happy.

We had a fantastic time. Every day we had a different activity so the diversity it's there. Our hosts, Kristian and Pamela are great people and kind hearted. We loved it and we thank you!

Our stay went very well, the place is beautiful, the small garden and terrace are full of charm and very pleasant in hot weather, the house is cool it's ideal in summer otherwise there is air conditioning or heating it's great! The hosts were very welcoming with us as well as with our dog! Nothing to say, I would 100% recommend it

Great cottage that combines modern comfort inside with timeless beauty of the country side outside. The host family was great in helping us out with some milk for a kid when we arrive late in the evening. Easy access from the highway. Close to a few small towns and not far from Nates or Angers.

Thank you for the stay, we arrived Friday night to go to Le Puy du Fou on Saturday, and leave on Sunday. The accommodation was very good, well equipped, spacious for 4 adults and 1 child, close to Le Puy du Fou by car. Very nice stay ☺️

We have 4 top days at the estate. The mobile home is very well equipped and we were able to enjoy all the family activities of the campsite. The law is quiet and nature and the bikes have a real plus . A real soothing moment of relaxation for everyone

a little gem that seduced us all, young and old in a quiet little village. What to visit nearby, enough to rest in this quiet place to have fun thanks to the pool and also thanks to the nearby outings, enough to eat and drink thanks to the different restaurants in the area (for adorable prices), enough to marvel at the shooting stars at night... in short, a refreshing vacation thanks to great people, good advice and concerned about our well-being thank you again and we hope to see you soon

Anais is a very responsive host. Friendly and helpful. 🙂 The accommodation was homely and full of character. It was a self check-in and out with a key box which was very flexible for time. The next door neighbour was friendly and helpful regarding where to park. We chose this accommodation to be close to Puy du Fou. It was a 45 minute journey each way. Had to allow an extra 30 mins to get out of the Puy du Fou carpark each evening. My only negative was the two massive spiders in my bedroom, which my son had to kill before I could sleep there!! This is not, of course, a reflection on our host but merely due to my arachnophobia and the house being surrounded by hedges and greenery!

We had a great weekend in this charming tastefully renovated house. On the occasion of a wedding in the area, we were able to settle very easily in this accommodation perfectly suited to a family, including with young children. The house is well-equipped, comfortable and warm and the garden is very nice. A real favorite for us and our daughter delighted to discover a beautiful collection of children's books. An address that we keep and recommend without hesitation.

We had a great time at Odile's large cottage. It was quite suitable for our family gathering with 4 young children. The size of the kitchen, the amenities, the number of bathrooms are adapted to its capacity. We also enjoyed the enclosed garden at the back and the large outdoor terrace with covered dining area. Arriving on Wednesday evening we were able to enjoy the organic and local mini market from the farm next door. The opportunity to pet the donkeys in the field next door was an attraction for our grandchildren. The place is quiet and very close to the lake, nature walks possible. From the top of the bell tower of the church of St Lumine, view of Lake Grand-Lieu. The fishermen's house and the lake house allow you to discover the environment (many birds) Nantes is not far away. With the children, the Machines of the Island were unmissable. The Basse-Indre market is also very nice, taking the ferry from Indret. Very happy

Monique's house exceeded all our expectations. If you wanted peace and quiet then Chateau-Guibert is the place for you. The house is set in beautiful gardens with a wonderful view of the small fishing lake. There are no shops - only a baguette dispenser! - but Mareuil sur Lay Dissais was only about 5kms away by car. This was a charming village. The pool at the house made it as the coast is about an hour's drive away. We did go to La Rochelle and Les Sables D'Olonne and the coast inbetween, all about an hour's drive away as well. The house itself was extremely comfortable and very well kitted out - there was everything you could possibly need and more. Several different seating areas outside as well. Monique could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a delight to meet her. We would highly recommend this holiday home, and would be very happy to return here.
