As a family of two adults and three teens, we really enjoyed Maria’s beautifully renovated home. It is a historical building beautifully restored with love and exacting craftsmanship. Stone floors, plastered walls and antiques are perfectly complemented by new and modern fittings. Gorgeous linens and textiles give it the feeling of a boutique guesthouse. So too Maria and her husband’s warm reception for us after our long drive. They picked us up at the curb, provided us with all the things to make us comfortable - coffee, fresh milk, fresh juice and more - and organised us a parking space for the entire visit. The immediate location is urban and friendly. Great restaurants and the local fresh food market are all within short walking distance. Beautiful beaches are within a short driving distance. We have so many happy memories of Palafrugell and right at the top is this wonderful home and Catalan hospitality at its very best.

If you want to relax and drink fine wine within 1 metre of the beach and within 4 metres of the water this is the lance for you. Quite amazing to be so close to nature, the calming sound of the rippling waves and all under a warm Spanish sun…. Tables, chairs and sunshade provided . Should you not want to cook walk 1 metre to the right to a seafront restaurant, they will even serve you to your own appt table. The house itself was comfortable although perhaps the bedrooms lacked a bit of privacy due to the nature and likely original design of the building but I’m straining to criticise anything …… would return but will be bringing big repellent! Mucho Gracias!

It was a very nice place and it is located on the countryside which in the mornings i could walk and watch the houses next to it and Rosario and her husband lived right next to it which is good and they where very nice and asked us from time to time if everything is okay and they have two roosters which in the mornings sing songs and the place doesn’t have a washing machine and their dogs are very friendly and they also have cats and sheeps it was a blast everything was nice and cozy

The place is perfect! It is so peaceful and picturesque that it feels like a true retreat, but you are also close to fabulous beaches and other amenities. The house was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the outside space. Fleur was so lovely and inviting, a great host ! Highly recommend staying here- a special place and perfect for exploring the costa brava.

Such a beautiful home! Very modern and well designed, the invisible induction stovetop is so luxurious (I had to make dinner and try it out!). Anastasia was very hospitable, responsive, and helpful throughout my stay. I would come back in a heartbeat.
