Located in the Flemish countryside within the estate of the 1778 ingelshof manor. This atypical accommodation brings all comfort and cocooning in a green setting. 35 minutes from Lille and 20 minutes from Dunkirk and its beaches. 5 minutes from Belgium and 40 minutes from the Channel Tunnel or Bruges. It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing : everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium : Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. La maison est au cœur de la nature : au milieu d'une prairie, tout près des grands arbres et d'un point d'eau. Un endroit paisible, reposant. Our "La Cachette Verte" cottage is just 10 steps from the Marguerite Yourcenar departmental park hiking trails. A cozy little nest nestled at the highest point of Mont Noir, 1 km from the Belgian border. Possibility to park your bicycles and cargo bike in our large entrance hall & have breakfast in our tea room by reservation.

Wake up with a pristine wide view of the drowned meadows (Meersen) and fields; changing to the rhythm of the seasons. Enjoy the spectacle of the fluttering singing skylark, the happy chirping of swallows as night falls. Lie down on the jetty, get into the boat to just float on the natural pond. Walk, bike, swim or just do nothing.
