Beachfront vacation rentals in Monmouth

on arrival we were a little late getting codes for entry but very quickly remedied via message, the yard (on approach to the house) was crack and broken concrete but didn't affect us at all. overall our stay was great with no other issues, flat was in great shape, clean and as others have stated we appreciated the jams, butter, bread etc ( thank you nice touch) overall we really enjoyed our stay. thanks kirsten.

My family and I staying in Segeun little cottage, we enjoyed very much, nice big kitchen, and clean bathroom. Very comfortable beds, I have back problems and I sleep like a baby every night. Easy to find and very well located to get to Penyfan peak and Breacon Mountain. We also visited Aberfan town and memorial. And the owners from the corner fish and chips shop made our trip even better, they have very nice food and home made pies, we got food from them few times and eaten at home. Definitely we will come back.

Lovely apartment, great location within walking distance to beach front and all amenities. 5 min walk from town centre.

This was our second visit to Nash Point Lighthouse - which itself speaks volumes. As well as being in a stunning part of South Wales - with loads of wonderful walks and beautiful beaches - the accommodation is super: spacious, well equipped, clean, with comfy beds and lovely bed linen. As pointed out by previous reviewers, be aware that the Lighthouse is pretty much off grid (unless you're on EE, which worked for us) but surely that's the point of a get away?!! We were fortunate to experience dramatic weather - wild, wet and windy to crystal clear and sunny. With no light pollution, the night sky was a blanket of stars. Heavenly! We will be back and urge anyone else who books to explore the surrounding countryside and coastline.

Lovely stay at Darren’s nice and quiet place. Walkable distance to the marina, the nearby supermarkets, restaurants and cafes.

My wife and I were looking to get away from the house and kids for a night so we looked to source a local accommodation within 20 minutes of the house. Living relatively local to Portishead, this little gem stood out. The place was relatively clean to hotel standards but not necessarily my own personal standards, everyone sees dirt differently, I just couldn’t understand the high cleaning fee for the cleaning service I’ve experienced. Place well maintained. I’ve tried to ask the host for and extra hours but the host was firm on check out. My only suggestion is that with the two little shelves drilled into the wall, they could use a corner protector since in the first 10 minutes of me being there, I’ve banged my head so bad that I still feel the aftermath of the hit 24hrs later. Since it’s a new and unfamiliar place, you might not know where the corners of the furniture is and accidents are just waiting to happen.

I was looking for a quiet location near the sea. This cottage more than fulfilled my expectations! I really enjoyed seeing the natural beauty of the coast and surrounding fields. Sharne and Tucker were exceptional hosts. They were available, friendly and approachable. The cottage was extremely well-appointed. Sharne has thought of everything you'd need to stay there. It was very comfortably and tastefully furnished, cosy and well equipped. Several villages and towns are close by, with Cardiff within easy reach. The directions were clear to find it, and parking available on site. I'm already thinking about another stay there as soon as I can!

Had a really nice stay with our kids for an event. Mandy and her husband were very helpful. Thanks we would like to come back in future. Very close to Penarth seafront.

Amazing house with a very welcoming atmosphere, thoughtfully furnished, with plenty of space for the ten of us - age range from 4 to 75. We appreciated the welcome pack on arrival and loved the personal touches in the art on the walls. The location is good for coastal walks or visits to Bristol (convenient for park&ride), or just chilling out beside the marina. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to experience all the enticing eating/drinking places locally but The Siren had a good choice of ales. Only issue was finding a parking space on the road close by, but it was a bank-holiday weekend. Many thanks to Brendan and Emilie for setting the scene for a lovely weekend.

Lovely apartment in a quiet location. It’s a little bit away from the bars and restaurants, but that is no issue as the taxis are easily available. The communication from Ty SA’s team was excellent. We had a minor issue where the smoke alarm was beeping every minute. We did try to fix it, but it was slightly tight and we didn’t want to risk breaking it. We then contacted Ty SA and they arranged a repair at a time to suit us. The repair man arrived on time, fixed it relatively quickly and was friendly throughout. I would highly recommend both Ty SA and this apartment!

In short, this place is absolutely incredible. The beauty of it, the peaceful natural surroundings and the facilities are amazing. It’s more than I ever imagined it to be. The Yurts and treehouse cabin Are beautiful and extremely inviting. The decor is done perfectly well and one of the best I’ve stayed in. The beds are so comfy! The kitchen space has everything you need and more! It has beautiful views, is easy to find on the site and has a camp fire nearby! It is very dark at night and some of the paths (especially to the treehouse cabin) are quite treacherous but everything was described in detail before arrival so it was nothing different to what I expected. I went for my 30th and booked the whole site and I had the best weekend! Me and my friends have never felt so relaxed. The site is huge so you can walk around and take in all the natural landscape. Or you can walk to the town which is 15/20 minutes away. David has been the best host and I cant wait to return!

We spent our Christmas Days in Silver’s lovely apartment. The most impressive is the stunning view over the bay. Absolutely fantastic. The accommodation is very clean, beautiful designed and with a lovely fire place. We extremely enjoyed our stay. Silver is a lovely person. There are many things to do and see in that area. Unfortunately, we had nasty weather over Christmas. But, that was no problem, because we enjoyed to spend our time in the lovely apartment with the fire place and Apple TV. Thank you Silver!

Gorgeous gorgeous place. We had the whole place to ourselves, in lovely natural surroundings. Really nice and well judged mix of luxury and simplicity. Everything immaculate, everything understated really high quality and thought through carefully. One of the most lovely holidays we've had. Just be prepared for it prioritising being in nature, so the walk up to the cabin would not be suitable for people with disabilities, and there are composting toilets and a walk between the kitchen and tree cabin that some people might find inconvenient. We had complete privacy and would love to come back. Thank you - my wife had a wonderful 40th birthday trip away - the brief was to "hide in a wood away from life and responsibility for a weekend" which this fulfilled perfectly!

what a great location, so peaceful and quiet. the space was quirky but comfortable and made the short stay quite entertaining. The grounds were very well maintained and it was a pleasure to walk around.

Darren is very friendly, laid back and hospitable. He makes you feel right at home. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a good stay. It ticked all the boxes for us. I would recommend this place if it looks right for you.

The grounds were just stunningly beautiful, ten times better then the images. But the team is what really made it an incredible stay, they truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible time. We are already looking into when we can come back!

We had a lovely stay at Gileston Manor, the house is beautiful and the gardens offer tranquil strolls surrounded by an array of wildlife. I couldn't recommend this venue enough.

Darren is without doubt one of the best hosts we have stayed with. He even offered to pick us up and a bottle of wine! we were driving so didn't need to be picked up, however the offer was a nice touch. will definitely stay again

10/10 Host Very friendly, understanding and sharing. 100% recommended to anyone staying in the area, and 100% will be returning. Communication is amazing and an all-rounded great guy. Property is amazing, comfortable and peaceful. No restrictions, and access to all items including top of the range tech gadgets.

This property is just perfect, could not recommend staying here enough!!
