Monthly Rentals in Mongaup River

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! We were looking for a comfortable home to cook, relax, and enjoy nature, and this property exceeded our expectations. The sprawling backyard was perfect for long walks with our pup and family, and the woods behind the house were partially accessible, which my 7-year-old loved exploring. Anna and her team were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. When the power went out in the area, Anna immediately kept us informed with updates. It gave us peace of mind knowing that someone was available and attentive no matter the time. The home itself provided everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. We’re already thinking about when we can return! Overall, this was a 5-star experience, and we can’t wait to visit again.

This was our second time staying at the Clearing Farm Cabin, which has become a favorite place for my wife, our dog, and me to get away for a long weekend. Where to start? Booking and communication throughout the reservation was excellent. Jenna is friendly, responsive, and there was usually someone working close by (but not too close) during the day in case we needed anything (which we didn't). The drive there took us on scenic roads that wind through the Catskills, preparing us for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The house is cute as a button, well-appointed, dog-friendly, and sits on an acre or so that is completely fenced in and private (four challenging features to find in the same property on airbnb). It's heaven on earth for our dog! The location in Glen Spey is close to Port Jervis and Middletown which have quaint downtown areas and several trails for hiking (I recommend the Mongaup River Trail which is a short drive from the house to the trailhead). We can't wait to go back!
