Cottage vacation rentals in Monda

Vi havde en skøn og afslappende uge. Huset var skønt og det var hvad vi skulle bruge. Porten ville ikke åbne en dag vi skulle på tur. Vi kontaktede solymar Holidays, og vi fik hjælp i løbet af 20 min. De bedste anbefalinger herfra.

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Super mooie finca met prachtig zwembad. Ons huisje was top en had een fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het terras en vanuit de jacuzzi!

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende im Monte Naturivo! Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten wunderschöner Natur und ist der perfekte Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Alles war absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt – man merkt, wie viel Liebe hier in jedes Detail gesteckt wird. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom tollen Pool, dem entspannenden Hamam und dem wunderschönen Yoga-Raum – ideal zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Monte Naturivo ist wirklich ein besonderer Ort, den wir jedem wärmstens empfehlen können.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Dit huisje met zwembad (én jacuzzi!) bovenop de berg in Coín is echt een paradijs. Ideaal voor een ontspannende gezinsvakantie. De weg ernaartoe is wel pittig, maar eens je dat gewoon bent, is dit de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada, …

Had a lovely stay here. Villa was very clean and well presented. The scenery was beautiful and very peaceful. You will definitely need a car to get to the property as you have to drive down single track mountain roads to access it. Antonio looked after us well, we had a small problem one day and he came and sorted it after just a few hours. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor kitchen/bar area was amazing. There’s even a large paella pan which we put to good use. All the bedrooms have air conditioning which we needed as it was mid 40s during our stay! You are charged for the air con using a meter which we didn’t know until arrival but it was only €65 for the week and we had it on every night in every bedroom. The pool was very clean and Antonio came to clean it halfway through the week.

Wat een geweldig verblijf! We werden vriendelijk onthaald en voelden ons meteen thuis. Als je op zoek bent naar een moderne, luxe woning is dit misschien niet meteen iets voor jou. Voor ons was het alleszins perfect! De woning was proper en alles is voorzien wat er nodig is. De ligging is ideaal: rustig gelegen. Je bent op je gemak, privé. Het zwembad is een geweldige troef: puur genieten. Als ik 1 puntje kan zeggen wat misschien iets minder was is dat het toilet en douche buiten het huisje gelegen is. (als je 's nachts naar toilet moet ofzo) maar opzich voor ons niet storend. Wanneer we vragen hadden, kregen we ook meteen antwoord via bericht. We zijn zeer tevreden over ons verblijf en zouden niet twijfelen om terug te komen :-)

La casa de José Antonio es una maravilla. La localización es preciosa, y muy tranquila. Es moderna, amplia, con dos habitaciones muy grandes, decorada con gusto, la cocina es muy completa, los baños están muy bien.. Añado dos puntos de mejora que considero importantes: 1) una de las camas es demasiado blanda, hasta el punto de acabar ambos en el centro y no poder descansar en toda la noche. Con un colchón nuevo se soluciona fácilmente. 2) El tema de pagar por la calefacción lo veo raro. Entiendo que hay alojamientos que te venden leña para la chimenea, pero ya cuentan con un sistema eléctrico o de pellets para calentar la casa. Por tanto, te cobran si quieres tener el capricho de encender la chimenea. En este caso por suerte no ha hecho mucho frío y hemos estado relativamente cómodos en la casa. Aparte de estas dos cosas, recomiendo este alojamiento al 100%. Muchas gracias por todo José Antonio.

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The mountains are incredibly beautiful, the town is not too far away, Malaga is great for beaches, town, restaurants, shopping and history! Juan is very friendly and happy to help and manager Jenni is always on hand to answer questions and visit to make sure that everything is going smoothly. The pool is compact but still wonderful for a dip at any time. It is clean and very well maintained. The terrace is beautiful to sit at all times. This is a wonderful place. Thank you for our stay!

Maravillosa experiencia. Javier estuvo muy atento en todo momento y servicial. La casa es tal como se describe y equipada al máximo. Nos hizo sentir como en casa. Gracias Javier por la experiencia, volveremos!!!

La estancia ha sido espectacular sobre todo en algo que , después de haber ido a muchas casas rurales , normalmente es muy malo en todos lados , las camas han sido tremendamente cómodas para después de pasar el día intensamente poder descansar para recargar energías! Muchas gracias.

O caminho para chegar à casa tem ruas muito estreitas, mas vale a pena ir até à casa. A casa está praticamente no centro da vila, com acessos pedonais curtos para as zonas mais famosas da vila. A casa em si estava limpa, apesar de alguma loiça estar com pó (é normal). Também estava bem equipada e o quarto é simplesmente maravilhoso, com parte da falésia a fazer de parede e com vista para o ribeiro que atravessa a vila. Recomendo vivamente.

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying at Juan's charming & rustic home. If you are looking for a modern Airbnb, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Ronda, where you can enjoy beautiful views from your deck/patio/private pool & enjoy family time...then this place is for you. When you are ready to leave your comforts of home, you can drive to two of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia: a quick 10 minutes to Ronda or 25 minutes to the amazing & unique Setenil de las Bodegas. Juan's place has all of the comforts of a mountain home, complete with views of endless stars at night, 2 full bathrooms, enough room to sleep 8 comfortably & two air conditioning units (1 in the main bedroom & 1 in the living room) to keep the house cool. There is no AC in the 3 downstairs bedrooms, but since the rooms are on the bottom floor, they stayed cool at night. Our boys also loved the resident neighborhood cat, whom they named "Sunflower"! Hemos estado muy agusto pasando unos días fantásticos, la casa tiene toda las comodidades y no es necesario ni salir, hay mucha paz y mucha calma Ildefonso siempre pendiente de todo, un placer, seguramente en un futuro volvamos a repetir.

Aussicht und Pool waren der Wahnsinn 🤩. Bei kleinen Problemen hat Juan sehr schnell geantwortet und ich konnte das Problem mit seiner Hilfe beheben. Die Unterkunft ist rustikaler als der Pool und der große Garten mit seinen vielfältigen Pflanzen würde sich über einen Gärtner Besuch freuen. Eine Unterkunft, zu der wir gerne wieder zurückkommen.😊

Paqui and Jose Antonio were wonderful hosts and met us on arrival in a nearby restaurant to handover keys and direct us to the villa. The villa is superb and perfect for a quiet getaway which is exactly what we were after. It is just a short drive to the town of Coín which has an array of shops and restaurants. We ventured out for some great day trips including Ronda (hour drive west), Nerja (hour drive east), Malaga (30min drive) and a nice quiet beach (Playa del Peñón del Cuervo). The villa felt very spacious for the three of us and could easy accommodate more people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need as well as an outdoor bbq and great seating. The three of us enjoyed returning to the villa after trips and relaxing round the pool each day. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Malaga or the nearby areas and for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would write even more positive feedback if this section did not have a word limit!

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in het appartement (studio) aan het zwembad. Smaakvol ingericht, waarin alles aanwezig is om te kunnen genieten van een zorgeloze vakantie. Wat een heerlijk verblijf! De communicatie vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf verliep erg soepel, snel en prettig. We werden bij aankomst op de afgesproken plek opgewacht door Gert & Bruno, vanwaar zij ons begeleidden naar de hoger gelegen locatie waar we van Gert een rondleiding over het terrein kregen. Wat een service! En bij bovenkomst, wat een prachtig uitzicht. Bij aankomst lag een fles bubbels koud, kregen eitjes van hun eigen kippen en kwarteltjes alsmede citroenen die goed van pas kwamen voor in de salade en in de Vermouth. Gert heeft ons mooie tips gegeven wat te kunnen ondernemen in de omgeving o.a. voor onze trip naar Malaga. En wat hebben we genoten van de vier lieve hondjes met ieder een eigen karakter. We hebben ons heel erg thuis gevoeld. Dank voor de flexibiliteit en fijne tijd in jullie pardijs!

Julie’s place is lovely! Rustic in a beautiful way, up in the mountains and close to the land. Being an eco lodge, it’s solar-powered with some constraints around energy use in the evenings, but this wasn’t an inconvenience for us, even as a group of 8 squeezing in. The outdoor area in particular is special - with a large dining table, grilling area, pool, and sports area, all with spectacular views of the surroundings. Julie is a wonderful host, incredibly kind, communicative and accommodating. If you stay at her place you’ll be in great hands

We absolutely loved our stay in Atalaya. The house, the grounds, the view, the location - seclusion and good walks nearby: all divine. Did not want to leave!

We loved our stay at Juan's villa! It was very private with fantastic views. The property was so clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a really comfortable stay. The pool was lovely, the barbeque was great, and Juan was really responsive and helpful. We stayed here as a couple, but I could see that this place would also work really well for a family - it was very secure and peaceful, and was surrounded by orange trees. It was a great location for day trips and only 30 mins from the airport. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

We had a great stay at Nicole and Ruud's Casita. Such a peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. Everything was squeaky clean and the hosts made sure that we had everything we need. I totally recommend!

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful place, and once again, it did not disappoint. The views are absolutely breathtaking, just as mesmerising as we remembered. Our hosts, Bruno and Meredith, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They struck the perfect balance, being hospitable and engaging without being intrusive. Their presence added a lovely touch to our stay, and we enjoyed some delightful chats with them, filled with wonderful stories. A car is definitely essential to reach the site and explore the surrounding area. During our stay, we visited Estapona Beach, which was simply stunning, and took a short 20-minute drive to the charming village of Gaucin. There, we enjoyed a quiet coffee at one of the quaint local coffee shops, soaking in the serene atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the swimming pool. We made sure to take a dip every day, and it was pure bliss. In the evenings, we savoured wine looking across the valley.
