Tabitabi Kanoe Mitsu is a fully renovated, over 100-year-old Kyomachi house, located right next to Rokubo-Ritsu-Ji Temple, and is limited to one group per day. Looking from the entrance, you can see the garden spreading beyond the Yukimi Shoji sliding screen. It features a large palm tree. When you open the window from the living room, the semi-open-air bath directly connected to the garden invites guests to the best healing experience regardless of the season. The bathtub is made of Shigaraki-yaki, produced in a kiln in Shiga Prefecture. The far infrared effect warms the body to the core and makes it difficult for the bath to cool down. The reviews It was conveniently located near the Nintendo Museum (only 4 stops on the Kintetsu line). Living in a traditional Japanese house and talking to Japanese people was a great experience. It was a 2-minute walk from the bus stop that took me directly to Fushimi Inari. The view from the top was amazing, overlooking the city of Kyoto. It's a little far from the center but it was quiet and I slept well. Uzu introduced us to some restaurants around the inn, and they were all delicious.
