The cottage is an old house completely renovated in 2019 with a terrace that offers a beautiful view of the Morvan. It is located very close to Lake Crescent and Chastellux Castle, a few kilometers from Vézelay, Avallon, Bazoches. Our region lends itself to hiking, cycling or horseback riding in unspoiled nature and allows fishing or swimming enthusiasts to indulge in their favorite pastime. La Bascule is a hamlet of Chastellux, located between Avallon and Lormes.

The cottage is located in the heart of the village, close to restaurants, hiking trails, the basilica of Vézelay. It is on one level, large (55 m2) and bright. You will appreciate the comfortable beds, the height of the ceilings, the seating area, the equipped kitchen. It is perfect for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, families with one child (baby equipment on request) and four-legged companions. Small inner courtyard common with the owner.

5 minutes from all amenities. Rural atmosphere in this working farm, located between forest and canal. Take the time to walk, bike or horseback ride there. Then rest; a master suite will welcome you: 2-person bed, living room with sofa bed (register 3 people if you need sheets for the 2nd bed), private bathroom (linens provided). Fridge, microwave waves are available. Dining area in a large greenhouse, overlooking nature. Rest and relaxation assured.

The Avallon watchtower

Very close to the historic city center and right next to the ramparts, the accommodation has all the amenities. Located on a very quiet street with little traffic, it offers a very nice view from the terrace. The accommodation is for 4 people (1 bed and a 140 cm sofa). To host animals, please contact us. P.S.: Regarding Covid-19, we ask our guests to drop the laundry in the basket on the terrace. We are equipped with fiber optic internet.
