Amazing place! If you're looking for a calm stay away from the most touristic areas this is it. Lovely decorated and close to a perfectly empty beach. We really loved it, hope to be back soon. Can totally recommend this place especially for families.

It was wonderful to have a quiet airconditioned room and lovely tropical garden to relax in, and the perfect location so close to the beach as well as all the shops and restaurants.

basic accommodation, but just what we wanted. great price with breakfast included. lovely staff and a beautiful beach just a couple of minutes walk away. Plus cold beer from the bar 😀

Nice Place for a few days

The Laguna Palace went above and beyond our expectations for a vacation! The resort is super comfortable and tastefully decorated, the food is delicious, and the staff is so attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and of course the amazing beach and pool. Highly recommend!!

The communication with Bagamoyo went smoothly, the accommodation is beautifully located and overall we were very happy with the booking. The garden is a dream and the breakfast exceeded all expectations. Very, very friendly staff at the Spice Villa. We would love to come back. Thank you for everything!

Utupoa made me feel so at home, that I didn't want to leave at all :) I stayed for a week and felt so welcome. Joyce is an amazing, kind and very cool woman! With soo many interesting storys, I could listen to her for hours. But not only Joyce was great, her staff was lovely as well and helps with everything. The food is very delicious and freshly cooked. Utupoa is so, so beautiful with a fascinating garden and a huge mainhouse, with lots to see. I love, love, loved the view! The beach is great aswell and much quieter than other places, with viewer beachboys. Snorkeling is awesome with plenty of sealife to see. Mnemba Island is not far away and a must do for diving or snorkling - breathtakingly beautiful! I enjoyed the dinners with the other guests and Joyce, we had lots of fun. I met super cool people :). Utupoa is a home away from home with so much character, heart and sunshine. I would go back any time and hope I can one day. Asante sana Joyce!

Super location, everything was nice, good breakfast, kitchen in the garden with coffie anytime, grill, all personnel was fantastic. Clean, no smell, net mosquito, airy. I would like to back to this place again. I recomend this accomodation! Negative: Often does not flow water, but owner always arranged lorry cistern.

Apartment was booked for another person who enjoyed his stay. Apartment was clean and looked as advertised.

Beautiful little place in a lovely location! Great breakfast and views!

The room looks exactly the same as on the picture. The bed is hard and soft. I slept very well. The owner is very friendly. I made an appointment to pick me up. I had a short walk to the homestay. I had two suitcases for a total of 92 kg. The driver helped me with my luggage the whole time. The owner recommended a good tour guide for me. He helped me a lot with me for 3 days, he helped me a lot, very safe, very happy, and I had peace of mind, it was unnecessary, recommended.

Kiponda was clean and we LOVED the AC after weeks of not having it at our other stays. It actually felt luxurious in comparison. The hotel is perfectly well located and the hosts were so great about finding us a fantastic Taximan! Stay here for a nice place on a budget. You can also find the hotel on google maps quite easily.

Second time staying with Khalid and it’s always better than the last because each time it’s more personal and Khalid thank you sincerely!

Beautiful stay at Lalacabana, room was gorgeous and clean, beach was a 2 minute walk away with wonderful restaurants, and the amenities were everything you need and more (lovely pool and even lovelier restaurant for great prices). Thank you Lalacabana!

A really sweet place. The owners are super friendly and helpful, the location is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed here for a total of 8 days and felt completely comfortable. Breakfast was different every day, always with a plate of fresh fruit and good coffee. The water is a little salty but nothing to complain about. The rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. All in all, we were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

Great Host

The place is beautiful and very calm. Do not expect a sea view from your room as the description title suggests. The provided breakfast is wonderful, however the lunch or dinner course portions are exceptionally small for the price. Apart from that, I recommend the place.

Great solution for visiting the Nungwi and Kendwa area. Donatella was very helpful in giving us information and tips to make the most of our vacation in the area and in meeting our requests (e.g. early breakfast). I highly recommend it.
