It's ideal for a couple or family looking for a peaceful base from which to explore the area. The Wye river is under a mile away, a great spot for swimming, canoeing and paddle-boarding, with a fantastic pub overlooking the water. Lovely walks & cycling from the doorstep, with the Wye Valley and Offa's Dyke routes nearby. We are proud of our 5* reviews!

Peaceful location, close to great tourist spots

This converted barn is set in a glorious countryside setting, in the grounds of an old mill, with a stream running through the garden, and plenty of parking space. Well behaved dogs are welcome! The Barn is in a peaceful location, but within a short drive to the river, restaurants, canoeing, hiking and biking. It is possible to walk directly from the barn to a couple of places for drink/food. The Barn suits 2 people, but there is a single day bed in the bedroom which can accommodate a child.

Mill Cottage is a delightful stone cottage situated on a private lane in the heart of a pretty village located on the River Wye. The original cottage is over 150 years old and was the home of the sawmill manager, who ran the nearby sawmill, which has long since disappeared. It is now a lovely holiday cottage, that sleeps two couples and one well-behaved dog. It overlooks a pretty church and is very conveniently located for the village pub.
