Perhaps the greatest asset of this accommodation is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a completely DIY sauna, designed and built entirely by JP, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Indulge in a sauna experience you can only enjoy here, enveloped in the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese sunken hearth, typical of an old kominka house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Misasaki City, Okayama Prefecture. We use a vacant old-fashioned house as an accommodation. It is a calm environment because it is located in a rural area. It is located roughly in the center of Tottori Prefecture, so I think it is convenient for sightseeing by car. Nearby tourist spots include Aoyama Goshou Furusato Museum, which is a 9-minute drive away. The nearest supermarket and convenience store are 5 minutes away by car. We recommend that you purchase food and other items in advance. If you want to eat out, you need to go to Kurayoshi Station or Yura Station. ◼️ Building The exact age of the building is unknown, but I think it is over 50 years old. It is an old-fashioned Japanese-style building. The bathrooms and tatami mats are new, but everything else is the same. ◼️ Access For access other than by car, it is best to come by train to Kurayoshi Station or Yura Station and take a bus or taxi. The nearest bus stop is Anazawa on the Akasaki Line. Buses do not run at night.
