Sorrento Valley 5 minutes drive . Beaches & UCSD 15 minutes drive. Room has desk, TV with Netflix/coffee/tea/water provided, mini frig, microwave, kettle, fans, portable room A/C. Front door has a key pad for easy self entry. Private bathroom just outside your room door. Designated parking spot in driveway.

Welcome to my Tiny House! It’s a cozy little detached unit from my main house. Complete with sink, water boiler, french press coffee, queen loft bed, electric off-grid toilet, and private outdoor shower. The shower was custom designed with solid free standing stone- you’ll feel like you stepped into a water fall! I just recently added a dedicated 5g network high speed wifi. I have other Airbnb rooms inside my home so backyard and hot tub are shared with myself and other guests.

Location was a short 10 minute drive to the Balboa park area with driveway and street parking (hard to find airbnbs with at least 2 for sure spots especially in CA). There’s 2 bedrooms and a half bath on the main floor, and 2 larger rooms with a large full bathroom downstairs. I was worried about bathroom availability with a full house but it wasn’t an issue in any way and the large restroom is very nice! The only note would be that room #4 without having any windows, was a little stuffy and a little on the warmer side (Having no window is made very clear in his description). There was a fan inside that helped a lot and I cooled down after getting settled but if the temp. outside was hotter I think it would be too warm. Still a 5 star rating because he was extremely responsive and attentive and willing to make accommodations if asked, I didn’t ask because I was only there for 2 days and was mostly out of the house. Would definitely stay again!

Alan is a great host. His place is very welcoming. If you are new to San Diego, talk to Alan if you are looking for recommendations. He is very resourceful and friendly. The instructions and house rules are very helpful.

Neera was a fantastic host. My trip was not going to plan, and she made me feel right at home during a tough time. The whole family was very sweet and welcoming.

Huge thanks to Richard and Amber for providing family (and pet) friendly accommodations to me on short notice. R & A were very welcoming of and warm towards my young cat, and provided me with great recommendations about how to make the most of nearby resources. No hassles or issues when I unexpectedly needed to extend my stay, or work from home. Master bathroom has upscale finishes, feels like it's from the future (: Highly recommended hosts and home. Cute and cool/calm dog, too!

This place was a great stay! The location is great in terms of being in the center of San Diego which which is great if you’re trying to see multiple spots. It was also really nice to come back to a quiet and cozy place after a long day out. Matt was a super nice and great host. He gave clear instruction on the room which made everything easier. If I were to come back to San Diego I would totally stay here again!
