Norman Road, recently renovated is the perfect seaside getaway. A couples retreat or friends/family getaway for up to 7 guests be it a summer beach holiday or winter walks & relaxing in front of the fire. Blue Flag beach St. Mildred's Bay is 300 metres from the door, explore the Westgate High St shops, Margate Old Town, tennis at the nearby courts or enjoy the sun and a BBQ on the private patio. Ryders Retreat offers a modern, cosy base from which to enjoy all that Westgate on Sea offers. Nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside lies 'Hazy Fields'. A rustic shepherds hut with private hot tub for two, located next to our wildlife enriched pond, and surrounding fields. This really is a place to relax, soak up the relaxed atmosphere, gaze up at the stars and enjoy that well deserved break away. Situated between the medieval town of Sandwich and seaside coast of Deal within a 10 minute drive each way. Canterbury just 20 minutes further, there is plenty to see whilst away.

Our beach apartment is in a beautiful converted Victorian period house, with it's own private balcony, less than 5 mins walk from Minnis Bay Beach. Birchington Station (10 mins walk) provides good links to London and nearby coastal retreats. There is a parade of shops with a convenience store, fish and chips, cafe and micro pub 2 mins away. The Minnis Bay Brasserie is a 5 min walk away along the promenade. There are great routes for walking/running/cycling in all directions.
