Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Minnehaha

Our extended stay here was truly enjoyable by my family. Shay was an amazing host, and the house was exceptional. The pictures don’t do justice to its size and loveliness. Everything was well-stocked, and my kids loved the gaming room. The master bedroom was spacious, and the jacuzzi tub was amazing. I also had multiple options for working from home. It was the perfect place to stay while our home was being renovated for three months. We’ll miss it as it felt like home.

We had a wonderful weekend here! The home, backyard, and pool were all perfect! Everything was spotless clean, great communication, super private backyard and pool! They were so accommodating and were able to allow us an early check in which made our trip so much easier. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at Josie and Stuart’s place. It was clean and comfortable and it felt like home to us. We will be returning to Vancouver and will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Nicholas’s place. The kitchen was roomy and functional. The pool and hot tub were very well kept. The kids loved all the games both upstairs and downstairs! Nicholas was a very accommodating host and helped us with schedule flexibility and responded quickly to questions about the house. Beds were comfortable and great linens! Beautiful views from the deck at all hours of day. Thanks!!

This place is beautiful and it’s even better in person than it looks in the photos. It’s very peaceful. The property grounds are designed and maintained meticulously. Acres and acres of design and not even a single weed. Truly impressive property. The home itself was spotless and very clean. It smelled and felt like a new home. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The bathrooms were outfitted with lavender body wash, shampoo and conditioner which came from the farm and everyone really enjoyed. Everything in the house was logical and worked the way it was supposed to. The host Joshua was accessible and quick to respond anytime we had a question or needed anything. No complaints, only praises. This home was done the right way and no corners cut. I have family in Portland and will definitely plan to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and spent most days on the back porch overlooking the pond, sitting on the grass under the tree and walking through the safe neighborhood on the pathways (our busy 3 year old boy had a blast). Older house but clean and equipped with everything we needed. If the place was available we would have extended our stay (we booked their other house in the same neighborhood though.) We had a lovely stay at Adrienne’s place in Happy Valley, Oregon! Adrienne and his wife are such a sweet and welcoming couple—it truly felt great meeting them. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with stunning balcony views and a refreshing breeze that made our time there extra special. The space was well-equipped with snacks and all the utensils we needed for dining, which was a thoughtful touch. When we requested it, they kindly helped us by setting up a portable air conditioning unit, which made our stay even more comfortable. They also baked and shared delicious muffins with us, which was so thoughtful and sweet—it really made us feel at home. Overall, a wonderful location, a cozy and well-maintained home, and such kind hosts. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Happy Valley area!

We stayed 5 nights in this beautiful accommodation with an incredible view overlooking the valley to Mt. Hood. The host was outstanding - great communication, very helpful with all our questions & requests. The apartment was immaculate & more than fully equipped - extra linens, a big supply of towels, snacks galore! The kitchen appliances were great, easy to use, and lots of cooking supplies were provided. For really outdoorsy types, even camping & similar supplies were available. Bed & sofa were super comfortable, Internet connection fast, Smart TV worked well with DVDs available for all tastes. The location was excellent, too - short-ish drives to Mt. Hood & various hikes in the National Forest, plus only a few minutes' drive to commercial areas for shopping. The host really thought of everything (even providing some padded hangers!). Our only regret: not staying longer. Thanks for a great experience.

We actually booked Joe's place after our original place was too warm for sleeping. He was quick to respond, let us check in early and his place was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. 10/10.

This was my fourth time staying here. Fireplace Flat feels like home to me now as it is located 2/10 of a mile from my daughter’s house that she was renting while attending the University of Portland. I feel safe and comfortable at Fireplace Flat even traveling alone and I have a routine when I stay there.

Katya's place was a gem of a stay. Cozy and peaceful setting surrounded by a beautiful garden. The great location was walkable to coffee shops, parks, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of staying at Paula’s place for a few days in May. Whenever I am traveling in the Portland area, I always check availability here first. Magnificent property, tranquil vibe, a true gem amongst the treetops. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Dmitri and Viktoriya's place was amazing. They have taken great care to equip the place with everything a large group needs. They even had a cute welcome basket setup for us with snacks The instructions for everything were super clear and they were also super responsive on all our questions and asks. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come stay here again

Great place with access to Max and a number of other activities on the Westside of Portland. We were able to navigate to a Timbers game without much trouble.

This was by far the best Air B&B we've stayed at. We got in just before the summer prices hit which was even better. The pool (and hot tub)is heated and NOT chlorinated (must be salt water) that is super important for some of us. PLENTY of space to not be on top of eachother. 🗝 One thing you want to keep in mind, there are spices, but no condiments whatsoever.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hex Odyssey! The house was stunning and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making our arrival and departure a breeze. Our host, Lance, provided incredibly clear instructions, which made navigating the property easy. What truly made our experience special was Lance's hospitality. He was not only friendly but also incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome basket and a bottle of Argyle sparkling wine waiting for us, which added a lovely touch to our stay. It was evident that he genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Hex Odyssey to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

I had my bachelorette party here and it was perfect!!! The house is clean and modern and the views are incredible. It was perfect for a big group! Also so close to several wineries. The perfect getaway spot!

This is an absolutely stunning rental with great amenities. We wish we had more time here! We stayed here after our wedding night, and it was the perfect spot to feel special as newlyweds. Well before we checked out the following day, we were already talking about wanting to rebook for a future stay. The farmhouse is beautiful and feels simultaneously rustic and luxurious. I highly recommend this place.

We had an incredible stay at the Hex House! The photos really can’t capture how comfortable and cozy the space really is. The instructions were easy to follow and Lance communicated everything before we arrived, so no need to reach out while we stayed. The weather was cool and wet so we didn’t get to use the pool, but the hot tub and sauna were great! We had a group of six and there was so much space. We can’t wait to come back again, maybe next time with our partners! Thanks so much!
