Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Staying with Charles was really great, we enjoyed the peace, solitude, the hum of the ocean and the starry sky. We didn't even want to leave. The equipment was excellent and we enjoyed the hammock on the terrace. Charles was very helpful, accommodating and helped us a lot with the organization of our stay. We'd love to come back to this place

Love staying at Kasa Salamansa, I definitely recommend and will be back. Space is beautiful and Evaristo is a great and accommodating host.

We stayed with Paulo and his wife in their house organized to host several people. Paulo was super reactive, he came to pick us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the city. The day we wanted to leave Mindelo, there was no minibus running so he also dropped us in the village we were staying next. In short he is really nice, helpful and very resourceful when it comes to local adresses!! His place is nice, simple and comfortable. The terrace is super cool and gives you a nice view over Mindelo! It’s 10min walk away from the city center and 30min from the beach where you can swim. Thank you so much for everything Paulo!

We've enjoyed Cindy's place a lot. It is perfect if you want to work remotely with a beautiful view or to just relax. It is very spacious and cosy. Terrace is definitely better than it looks on the pictures! The view is amazing! :) . We order traditional breakfast twice and got THE most delicious Catchupa we have tried on the island of São Vicente. I would definitely recommend this place further.

The accommodation is impeccable and very pleasant. Being outside the city it is an extremely peaceful place. Don't worry about getting there, all taxis know the address and drop you off there for a very reasonable rate. Very good hosting from others, thank you to them! I recommend 100%!

We had a great time at this place! Warm welcome, beautiful and peaceful environment, nearby beach, comfortable accommodation with a beautiful terrace on which it was very nice to have the breakfasts that were brought to us every morning (be sure to specify this option beforehand with the host)... Paradise!! Two small points of attention, however, if you plan to stay: - Without a car, access is probably difficult because, as mentioned in other reviews, the listing is at the end of a long sandy/stone path and outside downtown Porto Novo - Don't rely too much on WiFi which is quite random 😅😉 Still, we recommend without so much as a second thought!! We wish we had stayed a little longer!! Thank you so much for hosting us 😊

We loved staying at Anny's beautiful property. Everything is as described, and Anny provides many helpful things and little food items each day! The property is very nice, with a wonderful cool pool, and is about 30 minutes' walk from the town, all by the sea. If you do not want to walk there are endless taxis that can take you anywhere inexpensively. Anny can also help you rent a car cheaper, and we used it to circumnavigate the island. You can also hire a guide to drive you around, which is not very expensive either. Anny provides good advice about local places and restaurants, too. From the house you will be able to hear the incessant waves, which is great for sleeping. Nothing disturbs your quiet in this house. Antao is beautiful, with many peaks, a caldera full of clouds, and hiking paths - those are steep and not easy, but the views are rewarding. Food and cocktails are fresh, huge, and cheap. A great vacation!

The accommodation is ideally located by the sea, very quiet, it feels good. Anny was as pleasant as could be and we can never thank her enough for her kind advice. The couple working for the house also perfectly represents Cape Verdean kindness and humility. I only have one desire, which is to go back because one night is too short to appreciate the place. Very spacious accommodation, fairly well-equipped although we couldn't find anything to dry the laundry. Building very exposed to the wind and poorly sealed windows. The pool is unusable out of season unless you are motivated by very cold water. Geographical location far from the center of Mindelo, but easily accessible on foot or by taxi. Very friendly and smiling reception and security staff. Comfortable but quite impersonal accommodation.

Carine is very welcoming and speaks several languages which facilitates exchanges! Very clean hotel. Small pool, with only 4 sunbeds, fortunately we were alone (or almost) staying here. Note that the water is not heated and cooler than the nearby ocean, so the temperature difference with the outside makes you feel good! But once you're in it, that's okay! No "supermarket" in the village, few restaurants, it's very peaceful except the dogs barking all night or almost all night: keep the windows closed! There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Spacious room! We went to see the Turtles with the local fishermen, it's very exotic and to do!

nice, spacious and clean stay. you have no locked feeling due to the many light inside and the balconies available. Everything you need is available. you walk to the beach in no time. If you want to explore the area, you can get on the bus that stops in front of the door or grab a taxi. Plenty to do in the area: restaurants, playground, museum and the city center can be reached within 5 minutes by taxi. + clean + friendly and helpful + security available + lively environment + supermarket nearby - high stairs to get to the apartment building. (There is an elevator in the building itself. Would get a key to be able to take the elevator downstairs via garage due to the stroller. In the end, it was not necessary. - can be heard a lot of wind in the house on windy days. solved with a cloth for the grate so it could no longer be heard in the house - balcony doors couldn't be locked (no problem was 8 high)

We were moved from our original booking to this apartment following a water issue in the building. Our host communicated with us and offered the change (it was un upgrade to what we had previously so it was a no-brainer to agree!) before we actually arrived in Mindelo. So hats off for being forward and helpful, we don't know what we would have done in the heat of Mindelo without water!!!! (water is very precious in Cape Verde, it hasn't rained in 3 years so don't take those issues lightly. Our host did very well by sending us into another apartment ). The apartment itself is big with 3 bedrooms. We were a group of 5 and were all very comfortable . The kitchen is big and functional . We didn't cook in there while we were in Mindelo. We indulged in local restaurants instead! And since the place is well located, we had a lot of options. The beach is literally across the street, and it's a very nice one too. And surprisingly not crowded (maybe we were at the wrong time of the year...). The beach club will provide you free wifi if you use their premises (we did. Their beach chairs with umbrellas were a blessing). All in all, we enjoyed ourselves very much and we have our host to thank for that.

A beautiful apartment in a wonderful city Very quiet, 5 minutes to the beach, bakery, shops, restaurants in close proximity, to the city center it is also only 5 minutes walk. The highlight of the apartment for us was the terrace with sea view, we enjoyed it. We will be back!
