Historical Vintage Villa Within a Mountain and Castle

Rediscover mid-century modern aesthetics at this vintage inspired home. The residence features warm woods, contrasting textures and motifs, light hues, a floating staircase, a minimalist interior design approach, and rooftop views from the balcony to the castle and mountains. Located in the old town, nearby the church of Saint John, you will find the area quiet and silent, all you need to spend some relaxing days. Casa do Adro offers all the amenities of a new modern house, but with the retro/vintage touch and comfort. On the ground floor we have a fully vintage style equipped kitchen with dish washer, laundry, living room and service toilet. There is a big table where 8 people can comfortably sit for dinner, and where we daily serve breakfast with Regional fruit, home made jams, juice and locally bread. The living room offers a nice flat TV and sofa. You can go through 100 international channels, or simply rest or read a book, inside or outside on the terrace. The first floor has two rooms, both with double bed. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and each room offers air conditioning and splendid views over the mountains and the castle of Porto de Mós. Guests will have access to the whole house. I have limited availability, even though I am reachable 24 hours on the phone and email. Whenever I can, and if my guests feel like, I enjoy a good chat and get to know people. Sharing experiences makes part of the Airbnb concept. The Villa do Adro is located in the historical area of Porto de Mós village. Guests can easily walk to places of interest such as Porto de Mós Castle, the town hall square, and the Serra de Aire and Candeeiros Natural Parks with great trails, caves and views. Parking is always available by the house. The walk to the Village takes 5 mins, and from there you can take buses to the main attractions (Nazaré, Leiria, Fátima, Batalha, etc). We will get in touch with the guests to arrange the check in.

Destinada ao lazer e para renovar energias positivas no seio da pura natureza verdejante da Serra d' Aire e Candeeiros. Situada a 5 km do Santuário Mariano de Fátima, a quinta está muito próxima da urbanização mas completamente inserida numa paisagem rural longe dos ruídos da civilização. A piscina é grande e ótima para brincadeiras entre amigos e família ( não existe vigilante da mesma).

Stephen is a considerate host. After a long day of driving I had an issue with directions. Stephen promptly met me and got me settled in. Their guest house is uniquely and beautifully decorated and has everything I needed for a two night stay to explore the caves in the area of Minde. I'd stay here anytime! Great host, great stay!

Estadia por Minde foi sobretudo para ir às grutas de mira de aire e a escolha deveu-se a localização e proximidade. O espaço surpreendeu e sentimos em casa nestes dias por lá tínhamos tudo que precisamos o alojamento e coisas que não estávamos à espera. Cozinha muito equipa e restante espaço do alojamento impecável. O Tiago foi um óptimo anfitrião e eu ao encontro na terminal rodoviário foi uma enorme surpresa. Também fomos às piscinas municipais que vale a pena. Por fim óptima localização e ambiente muito acolhedor.

I only wish that Anabella could hear all the ‘wows!’, gasps of delight and smiles of appreciation for this wonderful property as you walk through the door!! Set in a quiet hillside location, It is just the most beautifully laid out home… modern, yet rustic… simply furnished but oh so comfortable with cosy lighting and quirky touches!! Everything has been catered for and thought about.. it is super well equipped and even provides a juicer for the ample supply of oranges growing on the trees in the garden… such a treat! The house is tastefully decorated with Anabella’s personalised and creative touches. The soft ambient lighting both inside and out elevate this property to another level after dark! We stayed as a family of nine with two little ones.. who adored the pool and loved watching their favourite programmes on the big screen! We ate in every evening, such were the glorious sunset views from the terrace table. Thank you, Anabella, for sharing your beautiful home with us..

De caravan ligt op een fantastisch adembenemend uitzicht. Op de locatie zelf zijn verschillende plekken inclusief hangmat om te zitten/liggen. Overal waar je om je heen kijkt zie je de prachtige omgeving. We bleven maar kijken. de caravan zelf is goed verzorgd met zowel binnen als buiten mogelijkheden om te koken. De locatie ligt ongeveer 3 km van een schattig Portugees dorpje met supermarkt en restaurant/cafetaria. In de buurt is van alles te ondernemen. Mariana is een fantastische host en doet er alles aan om het verblijf naar je zin te maken. Een echte aanrader voor een ieder die dicht bij de natuur verblijft.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Peaceful, quiet, and I loved the orange and lemon trees. Listening to the birds while enjoying the view was a real treat! Joao was extremely professional and communicative - it’s clear he has put a lot of time and attention into the Airbnb.
