We spent a weekend here with a group of 12 friends and had an absolutely amazing time in these stunning surroundings. The place is beautifully designed and offers a wide range of activities for all tastes. We especially enjoyed the sauna with its gorgeous scenic view — a perfect way to relax and unwind. We also did yoga on the terrace, made great use of the fully equipped kitchen for group cooking, and had a blast playing yard games outside. This place truly has everything you need for a memorable getaway, whether you’re looking to relax or stay active. Highly recommended!

Very calm and tidy, very sleepy after work.

A cozy and peaceful place. The cottage was old but in very neat condition, no smell of mold/moisture, good quality tap water, neat beds and renovated shower/sauna. Just the kind of cozy cottage that you can expect based on the description :) There was also a beach sauna. You could get to know the cows and there were also cats in the yard. Communication with the host was very smooth and friendly, and overall we enjoyed our time here.

Very nice place to stay! We stayed 3 nights and we loved it! Perfect for some relax with a lot of walkable routes, the sauna in the house and right on the lake. The only problem we had was with the wifi, who wasn’t really working. We can definitely recommend this place :)

Very good trip!

Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.

We had a really nice and peaceful stay at Kati’s place. It is an outstanding location with just the perfect spots for enjoying the nature. Three nice bedrooms with comfortable beds and atmosphere for resting. The perfect cabin for a relaxing few days vacation. The sauna was nice and the pier was good for sunbathing. We stayed at the cabin for 1/2 week. The communication with the host was uncomplicated. The photos and other information describe the cabin well. The property is located around 6 km from the center of Kangasniemi and away. Directly from the cottage you can reach a recommended and marked forest path bike route from the tourist info (there is the plan), a nature trail for hiking can be found about 2-3 km south of the town center. For dance fans, the dance floor "Syvälahti" is a worthwhile destination on the weekend evenings. The instructions and notes in a folder in the cabin were helpful.

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

The cottage is in a gorgeous location. You'll get what you see in the photos. It is also ideal for travelers with a dog as there is plenty of space and little to no traffic. During our stay, there were regularly three cranes in the "backyard". In short, it is highly recommended for people who love peace, space and nature.

Cute cottage in an ideal setting. I was afraid of the cold at the end of October but the electric heaters worked very well! Comfortable sofa bed, just the toilet outside at this time of year is not necessarily convenient, but the view of the lake clears everything else!

Bright studio on the top floor of a quiet apartment building. A short walk to the beach and downtown shops. The equipment is suitable for longer stays.

The house was amazing, all clean and very comfortable. The view of the lake at the sunset is speechless and the hot tub was spectacular

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay in the Mökki of Emelia. The place is beautiful and very quiet. We loved the place, the very comfortable Mokki and the sauna with lake views. The cottage was in a great location in privacy! I would have loved to have stayed here longer. The sauna provided good steam and there was just the right amount of space in the cottage. The dog was also comfortable with freedom and a shallow beach where you could wade. Highly recommended!
