Beautiful home just near the Great Lake. Well insulated with a lovely wood fire, sun room, entrance room, sauna and spa. Well appointed kitchen, good size bedrooms and nice furnishings. Perfect for a winter getaway.

Our stay at cider gum shack was the perfect option to wind down and relax away from the hustle and bustle. The cabin is very clean and comfortable, it felt very homely. The kitchen is fitted with an awesome range of appliances and cookware. The bathroom has heat lamps so was handy to pop them on just before a shower. My only complaint and honestly it’s just me being a little bit picky. Some more throw blankets in the lounge room would have been awesome. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is wanting a great place to wind down.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the cabin in Miena. Great location, beautiful view and very good value. Kate, the host, was helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this proper for a getaway or a fishing trip.

What a gem! Perfectly imperfect Miena shack right on the lake, decked out with everything you could possibly need for an anniversary escape. Cosy & private with stunning views of the sky and lakes ever changing colours and a northern aspect with beautiful light and sunshine! Could’ve stayed much longer than two nights!
