House vacation rentals in Mexilhoeira Grande

We are a family with five children , traveling for a month in Portugal and sleeping in Airbnb apartments, and this was by far the best house in every way: 1. The owner Tiago, from the first moment gives a warm and caring attitude and helps in all respects including the delicious treats at the check in, the host Ester is super nice . 2. The house itself is really beautifully decorated and fully equipped including games for children 3. The location is unbeatable- by foot there are amazing beaches, a gorgeous pool, and delicious restaurants In short, perfect

We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of calm. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was lovely and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We'd come back.

We travel with our family every three years. This year was Portugal. We spent one week in the Algarve at Steve’s home. The home was perfect for eight adults, four children and two infants. The house had a great layout for a big family. The pool was wonderful so relaxing every afternoon to come back and swim. Steve and Nathalie were great house. Great recommendations for food and activities, including car rental rentals. If we come back to Portugal, we would stay here again thank you for a fantastic holiday home.

No review anyone could write could sum up why YOU needed to book this beautiful villa for your holiday. As we know, sometimes it’s also people that make the place. We can conclude that not only the villa was exactly what we needed but the welcome and nano second communication via text made us feel like we just knew this couple love making peoples experiences the best. The place is in a great location and the huge window in the lounge is a real highlight. The outdoor shower facility is not intended to be used. There you shower on a broken pallet. The furniture and beds provided could be of better quality. There are no mosquito nets, so ventilation is only possible during the day due to the mosquitoes. There is a permanent unpleasant smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom. Despite the small shortcomings, I would recommend the accommodation!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ahua Portugal, where our host Anne guided us with thoughtful local tips and quick responses. Nestled on a peaceful hillside above Seixe Valley, the modern house had every comfort we needed and felt like the perfect retreat. We were deeply inspired by Anne’s dedication to the land. She has led a reforestation project across her 18-hectare estate, planting over 30,000 cork trees to restore the forest after wildfires. Tip: Do plan to bring a reliable car. The unpaved access roads are best navigated with a vehicle that has good clearance. If you’re seeking a serene, private getaway with a caring, responsive host deeply connected to her land, Ahua Portugal is an exceptional choice! Five stars all the way, and thank you, Anne!

A great house, perfect for hosting a friendship group or a large family. 7 of us stayed for a week, and had the best week for a long time! Would definitely recommend having a car to get to Lagos Town, but you can also very easily cycle into town with the supplied bikes which were also great. Pool and hot tub were super clean, Kitchen had everything we needed in terms of appliances and utensils. We look forward to re-booking! 10/10

A true haven of peace in the heart of nature! Lemon Lodge is an absolutely incredible place, where everything has been thought out to provide a unique and rejuvenating experience. Between the salt bath, the ice bath and the sauna, we experienced a moment of absolute relaxation on a simply fabulous plot. The accommodation was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped. A huge thank you to our host Alex, whose kindness, availability and attentiveness deeply touched us. This is undoubtedly our best Airbnb experience in all these years. We leave with unforgettable memories – congratulations and thank you again!

Love love this house. Stayed in a lot of AirBnBs - this one is a top 10. Really great for a family of 5. Pool was a homerun as we the whole outdoors. Winner.

Absolutely loved our stay at the villa. The house is amazing and the gardens are out of this world! Brilliant location for families as it’s really quiet but within walking distance to the town. The house is so clean - everything was spotless.

Villa Tanita great Weather could be better

Our start wasn't the greatest, but Margarida made sure to fix it and went beyond the expectations. The views are spectacular, having a pool is a most, walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. Lago is just a short 15min drive.

This villa is amazing, we loved the place! It is very spacious inside and outside, and the balcony with the sea view is just perfect. A great spot to catch sunrise and sunset. The kitchen is very well equipped and the villa has everything you could want. It is a really special place - if you get the chance to stay, do it! You do need a car if you are staying though, but there are lots of lovely places within a short drive. Checking in and check out we’re super smooth and easy and the host was very responsive. Thanks for a great stay.

Eva's place was the perfect place to call home in Lagos. It's in a quieter area of the city but still walkable to everywhere. She was very helpful with instructions and advice for our stay and had someone to greet us while she talked us through the place via video call. lots of attention to detail and a very nicely decorated place, but still practical. If you're a light sleeper, ear plugs for the seagulls would be a good idea, but that's the same for anywhere in Lagos. Was able to find parking each day too and instructions in guestbook were great for confirming parking spots. Highly recommend.

We were lucky to find Casa Funchal at the last minute thanks to Chris' responsiveness. Located high up, the villa is a peaceful haven after a day of sightseeing. The pool heated by solar panels is a real plus for swimming in May in the sunny afternoon without being cold. Well-decorated and very cute English cottage, 10 minutes from Faro center. We recommend it for motorized travelers.
