Monthly Rentals in Metchosin

Excellent stay here! Private everything, no shared spaces except driveway. *note: Driveway is Not flat, it's quite slanted/FYI. Kitchen is GREAT if you like cooking, LOVED gas range/gas oven, only missing a Glass dish for oven/chicken/baking. Plenty of utensils, didn't really cook a ton so can't think of anything 'missing' TERRIFIC laundry on-site, just didn't see it at first, it's behind the closet door in the foyer. Shower/bathroom is Great! Has "rain" shower heads over your head, Handy soap/shampoo/conditioner etc on a corner rack so if you forget to bring, no worries ! Counter space is good. Lighting is good. This space was built into the rear space behind garage and butts up to a rock wall at the bedroom/bathroom. Daylight comes through but the only outdoor view is living room/patio. Patio has table and 4 chairs. Only negative would be the dull thud pitter patter of a 3 yr old running around ;-) very understandable, but mostly between 3pm/4pm and 7pm-ish. Overall, a terrific stay!

Avril's cottage was a lovely, cozy, quiet espite from the noise and traffic of Victoria. It was immaculate and devoid of all clutter, while providing all the amenities: comfortable beds, kitchen appliances, comfy places to sit and reflect. The surrounding yard and woods are magical. Avril was highly responsive to queries and very helpful in terms of solving several problems (not generated by her or the place at all). We would happily stay at this homey, comfortable cottage again!

We had an amazing time staying here! The place is very well decorated and feels like home. We had no issues other than a couple pesky little ants coming out of the kitchen sink drain. From what I know, they are aware of the issue and looking into it. The TV was perfect for some big box scary movies and the local food like Floyd’s Dinner and Romeo’s were to die for!
