Beachfront vacation rentals in Meridian

This place was awesome! We brought our twin two year olds on their first AirBNB adventure and it couldn’t have gone better. We loved the property, everyone was very nice and friendly. Also Anita is great, we had a hiccup with the door lock that was most likely user error, and Anita was very quick to help us in the middle of the day on a Tuesday! All in all the place was wonderful and it was a much needed vacation for us.

The stay on Sapelo Island was a pleasant surprise. It was almost like having an island to yourself, miles of empty beaches, wildlife everywhere and few interactions with other people. It was an adventure start to finish and we definitely plan to be back.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! We rented this condo for a family spring school vacation and loved every moment of it. The apartment was spacious, very clean, well-decorated, and very comfortable. The large balcony was perfect for meals outdoors, and the full wall of windows facing the ocean brought the beauty of Simmons Island right into the living room. The apartment had everything we needed for a stay with small children, and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. There was a wonderful waterfront restaurant and a charming coffee shop at the nearby hotel. Right next door, there was a park with a children's playground. Condominium grounds were perfectly maintained, and a heated-water swimming pool was a great amenity to have. On top of all that, the host was very responsive and helpful. It would be difficult to think of a better stay!

Had a nice stay at the Sunny Showers cottage. Very good location.. A block and a half to the public beach access, a 6 minute walk to restaurants like to Crab Trap and Barrier Island, and about a 20 minute walk (or very short drive) to downtown St. Simon's and the pier. Be sure to note that you bring your own beach towels here, and also the outdoor patio/parking area is smaller than it looks in photo, and I was barely able to park my truck there. But we would book it again!

This house was perfect for our group of 9! It was clean and had everything we needing for cooking for all of us! It was right by the beach access so made it easy and convenient to walk to the beach. Our host was very fast at responding for anything we needed! We had a slight issue with the washing machine but they had a technician on it immediately. It wasn't anything that could have been controlled just things that happen! The back yard is so nice. very nice sitting area with a fire pit and there was deer that walked right up to the fence and let the kids feed them right out of their hands! Also, it includes a pool pass to Holiday Inn pool, which is also a very nice pool! If we ever make it back to Jekyll we will stay here again!

Wonderful house for a weekend trip to Jekyll island! We especially loved the air conditioned porch and the outdoor shower with warm water. Sam is a very responsive and helpful host. Would absolutely stay again and recommend this house!

This place was as described. I don't really have any cons for the place itself. The elevator was in and out working which made it a little more difficult to take out our small dog. Still It was a great place to stay and we would go back.

We truly loved our stay at Mary’s place. The location to the beach was unbeatable, and the house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our family had a great stay at Ben’s condo. He was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, use of the beach wagon, and riding on the provided beach bikes. Condo complex is quiet and well kept. Enjoyed our vacation!

Beautiful lodging and setting. The place is very well stocked and very clean. There were many small touches that meant a lot (a Keurig and a full-size coffee pot; a personal fan in the bedroom along with the ceiling fan). Small things that are helpful. There is a great view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The island is small so it is very easy to get around to see things and to great restaurants. We enjoyed the historic district and the Georgia sea turtle center. We loved lunch at the restaurant by the Holiday Inn and dinner at the Jekyll and Hyde restaurant (pricey, but absolutely delicious). We also enjoyed lunch at the Wharf. We did have noisy neighbors above us the last night. I almost went upstairs to ask them to be quiet (but decided it wasn't worth it). They were heavy walkers, not partyers. There's not much a host can do about that. If we return to Jekyll Island we will stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was even prettier than the pictures, and everything was so thoughtfully prepared. The walk to the beach was incredibly convenient, and the neighborhood was absolutely stunning. We especially appreciated the beach towels and chairs that were provided. It made our beach days so easy and enjoyable. We had a fabulous stay and would absolutely return!

The condo has a great location with access to the beach, pools and restaurants. The condo was comfortable and a great place for a beach stay but it is showing a little age. Overall though, a great place to stay and we'd consider returning.

This condo complex was perfect - fantastic location, great pool, and plenty of hoses to clean beach gear off. It is a very short walk to the beach, and far enough away from any public accesses to be a quieter section. The condo itself had everything we needed and nothing we didn't, which kept the price very competitive. Well stocked kitchen and a washer/dryer at the beach is a must. The side view was not quite as pretty as a center view may have been, but I think it kept the price a bit lower and our balcony a bit more private. We also did some rentals through their sister company, which I will absolutely do again - it was so incredibly convenient to have them dropped off and waiting for us when we got there. Would definitely use this complex and/or rental company again!

The townhouse is very good for families, plenty of privacy but there are lots of stairs because it is four levels but we did not mind. Very clean, cute decor and hosts so friendly and accommodating. Comfortable beds and nice linens and towels. Kitchen is actually fully stocked for cooking not like some airbnbs that have little to no cooking kitchen equipment, this was a real pleasure to find nice pots , pans and serving dishes etc.

This condo was the perfect size for the 2 of us! The pros: the location is near Driftwood Beach; is a first floor room with NO steps; the patio is secluded and very peaceful in the mornings for coffee or breakfast, and there are no complicated check-out steps to follow. You can easily walk to Driftwood beach, or jump into golf cart (from Red Bug) to zip around the island. The kitchen has a full fridge, stove/oven, and basic pans to use on really simple meals instead of eating out every meal. The cons: the bed was way more firm than what we are used to; the kitchen has basic primitive pans/utensils (like most airbnbs) so cooking was less than ideal. The dishwasher is pretty loud and didnt really fully clean, so I just hand washed after the first run. I hand wash at home so this wasn't much of a problem. The dining room chairs aren't comfortable at all so we ate all meals on the patio. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, & Michael is quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again

We were incredibly happy with our little townhouse (not so little really). Immaculately clean, very warm and inviting. The kitchen had very nice supplies and furnishings. Someone obviously has put a lot of love into the place and it shows. We are very grateful to have found it. Location was also perfect, 1 block from the beach, we could walk to the Village or bike everywhere. The rental company was easy to deal with, prompt with replies and made the whole experience easy. We would love to stay here again, they take care of a home like I would. Thank You. Kim and Tom

This house was perfect for my family of 5 and 3 friends. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out when the big kids needed a break from the little kids- the small playroom off the living area was perfect! The location of the house was perfect walking distance to the pool with toddlers. It was great having beach and pool access from our house! We definitely look to stay here again!

We had a pleasant stay & the view was so nice. We were within easy walking distance of shops, the pier, lighthouse, village market and great restaurants. It was peaceful and quiet. I’d book again:)

Charming cottage! Perfect size for two. Beautifully landscaped. Felt secluded even though it was on a busy road. Within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Hope to return soon!

The townhome was super nice and very close to the beach. Ryan was east to communicate with and very helpful with instructions. Would highly recommend

Rental was only about a block, easy walk/bike from beach with ramp access. The home seemed well Cleaned. The screened in porch was very nice and the fenced in yard was great for our dog. Hodnett cooper was very good with check-in/out instructions and making sure we were all good when we got there.

Enjoyed our stay! Loved watching waves and tides coming and going. Location was great! House was perfect size for our family. Trip was great and would definitely stay here again. Peaceful atmosphere!
