Huis Potaerde is situated in the old farm buildings on the square farm 'de Potaerdehoeve' ( now a modern dairy farm with cows and clalfs : to visit!), dated from 1772. Authenticity and class were central to the renovation. The location is extremely quiet, the cows graze on the adjacent meadows... And all this near the bustling center of Brussels! With its rural location, this country house is the ideal place to relax. Unique!

Had a fantastic business stay in Brussels! Was here because of a business trip where I visited the Brussels Expo and nearby hotels were fully booked. The apartment was very clean, bright and tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. The immediate area is very quiet and felt very safe. In addition, public transportation is very close, so Brussels city center was also quickly accessible. Supermarket and good bakery 5 minutes walk, which more than compensated for the lack of a hotel breakfast. Stay also suitable for young families given the space, but also because thought has been given to the presence of a high chair and even toys for young children, nicely tidied up in a cupboard and available if needed. Should I have to visit the Expo again, I will definitely book this apartment again and the stay here is my preference over hotels in the immediate vicinity.

With my girlfriend we booked at Theo's for our one year. The host is great, made us feel comfortable right away and gave us local addresses. I highly recommend it, the location is perfect, close to Brussels but you would think you were lost in the countryside, nothing better to enjoy the tranquility of Belgium and its sense of hospitality!

A beautiful house in the countryside. It was easy to get to Brussels and Ghent by train from the local station. The owners met us on arrival and showed us the house. They were very helpful before and during our stay answering our questions. We would definitely recommend this property.
