Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.

Located on the first floor of a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom mid-century house, complete with original architectural details, period furniture, a working stereo system and a small collection of LPs to get you in the groove. The space overlooks a secluded yard of old growth trees, stone paths and patio. Queen bed, WiFi, full kitchen, private bathroom with shower, combo washer/dryer, and a queen-size pull-out sofa bed in living room. Two steps lead to a sunken living room, otherwise all on one level.

We use CDC guidelines as close as possible & leave 48+ hours between guests for your/our safety. Enjoy our secluded park like setting, comfy bed, sauna, homemade bread/jam, huge cedar trees, sitting areas, golf chipping, horseshoes (seasonal). Close to SEA via ferry ride from Bainbridge Is. (30 min. drive) or 10 min. to Kingston ferries (walk-on or car). Near beach, golf (White Horse GC) & miles of hiking/biking trails, close to shopping & restaurants. Good for couples/singles. Wonderful single family house located between Seattle and Bellevue on Mercer Island. You can enjoy all the amenities the Seattle area offers staying in a quiet environment surrounded by the beautiful Lake Washington! Two minute’s walk to beach. Mercer Island is fantastic to bicycle – we’ve provided 2 adult bikes and 2 kids bikes, along with helmets. Exploring the gorgeous Pacific Northwest is so easy from here; Mt. Rainier, the Olympic Peninsula, the San Juan Islands are all within 2 hours.

Originally built in 1956 and fully remodeled in 2015, our studio delivers "retreat vibes". The entire east wall is floor-to-ceiling windows with views that peek through trees and show glimpses of Lake Washington. Sunrises can be enjoyed from bed, or experience total blackout with floor to ceiling vertical blinds. Cozy queen bed featuring an organic mattress with an Avocado topper and linens. Full kitchen with brand new appliances, big walk-in shower with a luxurious steamer. W/D included.

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Our location can accommodate solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids) and couples.
