Quality Luxury Killer View & Double Studio

This great base for business and pleasure trips has quality at every turn, views that can't be beat, & minutes from Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, Redmond, mountains, lakes, and much more. Enjoy the craftsmanship, architectural detail, & luxurious furnishings. .. AirBnB doesn't categorize this "double studio" suite with kitchen/dining between. Two beds convert to 3* * full size Euro-bed & * trundle daybed converts into a king size bed or two twin beds. Craftsman doors separate sleep space Kitchen has induction cook top that heats very rapidly but leaves cook surfaces cool / warm to the touch. And there is a browning microwave which works like a regular microwave and has a traditional oven heating element to brown / bake with.

Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.

Located on the first floor of a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom mid-century house, complete with original architectural details, period furniture, a working stereo system and a small collection of LPs to get you in the groove. The space overlooks a secluded yard of old growth trees, stone paths and patio. Queen bed, WiFi, full kitchen, private bathroom with shower, combo washer/dryer, and a queen-size pull-out sofa bed in living room. Two steps lead to a sunken living room, otherwise all on one level.

You can enjoy all the amenities the Seattle area offers staying in a quiet environment surrounded by the beautiful Lake Washington! Two minute’s walk to beach. Mercer Island is fantastic to bicycle – we’ve provided 2 adult bikes and 2 kids bikes, along with helmets. Exploring the gorgeous Pacific Northwest is so easy from here; Mt. Rainier, the Olympic Peninsula, the San Juan Islands are all within 2 hours.
