Our yurt is a peaceful retreat for anyone looking for a few days away from everyday life and wanting to live at a slower pace. Around the yurt, there are vast fields and a picturesque biotope. You will only hear the birds, the calls of the cranes, or simply the tranquility of nature. The best way to end the day is in the sauna and then cozily by the campfire.

We rebuilt the old clay frameworks, uncovered the ancient floorboards and only the finest clay paint was used on the walls. The hideaway is rounded off by a small cast iron fireplace for the evenings and a private sauna on the edge of the field... We love children 🧡🌟 4 cats and 1 dog live on the farm ;-)

In the Mecklenburg Lake District, there are an incredible number of great lakes and you can go cycling & hiking. Blankensee/Meckl. even has a train station.

The Birkenhof includes several acres of land with meadows, fruit and vegetable gardens and our small birch grove, which gave the farm its name. The farmhouse is ideal for families or small groups.
