Little Barn on the River - Pet friendly

Once an organic herb farm, our 5-acre property in Walterville has 300' of McKenzie River frontage, big trees, and plenty of wide open space to enjoy. Relaxing country living on the river just 20-25 miles of downtown Springfield and Eugene. Within an hour upriver is the some of the most spectacular scenery in Oregon (think waterfalls and old growth trees!). There's beautiful hiking trails, rafting/kayaking/drift boating (guided trips available), fishing, golf, hotsprings and skiing available.

Hobby Farm Apartment

A peaceful setting 1 mile out of the town of Junction City (known for it’s annual Scandinavian Festival) and just 9 miles north of Eugene. You will be staying on a 2 1/2 acre hobby farm with chickens, goats, orchard, and grape arbor. The one bedroom guest house off the shop (used mostly for storage) is aprox 700 square feet with a living room, large bedroom, full kitchen with range, refrigerator, pantry, and bath. Guests have access of the property and a designated picnic table and yard.

Your beautiful lodge is located in the SE Eugene hills, just minutes from fantastic shopping, dining, nightlife and recreation. At the bottom of the hill are connections to the extensive and high quality hiking and biking trails, including routes to the river, forested hills, Spencer Butte, Etc. One bus (#28) will get you to the University of Oregon, downtown and back. Our property is adjacent to a wetlands area and is in turn quiet and deer and wild turkeys roam the 'hood. Welcome!

Private and tucked away from the crowds, our Tamolitch Cabin is the perfect base camp for 2 to 3 people as you explore all the McKenzie River has to offer. Our property is nestled in the woods, just far enough off the highway that all you can hear is the sound of gentle rushing water. We offer guided rafting trips, mountain bike rentals and shuttles and more. We welcome people from all backgrounds and hope to share with you our love of the outdoors and our beautiful place in the woods!
