Cottage vacation rentals in McKenzie River

This was such an amazing find for us to spend a night at on the way back from a holiday trip. This place was immaculate and I truly wish we could've spent more time there! Aside from the ease of location, impeccable decor, and beautiful surroundings - they also have an extremely friendly and lovable cat and dog (Charlie and Oliver) that roams the property and added to the charm and friendliness we already experienced upon arrival. Hands down a 10/10, and we will be visiting again!

Very cute home. Nice to sit in the hot tub and listen to the river. Beds were comfortable. The house had coffee which was nice, many other amenities to make your stay comfortable.

Everything was absolutely as described. Private, clean and relaxing. Plenty of restaurants in the area to walk too. We had a lovely time.

A private oasis in the forest. I don't think I have ever stayed in such a peaceful location. The private warm spring (very easy to use) in close proximity to a beautiful blue rushing river was so unique. The only reason we left was to hike up and down the river. This will definitely be a repeat location for us.

We really enjoyed staying in this house. It's very secluded and private, but well equipped with every kind of amenities. Would love to come and stay again. Only issue we had was difficulty in finding the place at night since there was no sign on the road and it was pretty dark

Beautiful and brand new building on the same property as the original home. Surrounded by a large, fenced yard with a parking space locked within its own gated space. The access to surrounding parks, restaurants, Hayward, everything is within an easy walk. The inside is comfortable and of good quality. Plenty of kitchen amenities, nice sized bathroom, plenty of space for the two of us and our mid-sized dog. I would stay here any and every time we would have to come to this area. The owner and manager were great to work with and met us with the keys and friendly assistance. The only problem was that our stay was so short. We would have loved an extra couple of nights there!!

The vintage cabin was peaceful and quiet, and well equipped with anything we might have needed. It was a great size for our little family (two adults, one kiddo) and we had a wonderful visit. The bathroom is very nice and upgraded and the bear decor was very cute. Also, our car battery died when we were trying to head out, and the property owners were more than willing to help us get back on the road--they were so kind. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Justin and Amanda are wonderful hosts who are great at communicating. The area is beautiful and lots to do!

Kurt’s carriage house was EXACTLY as advertised. The home was comfortable and perfect for mine and my wife’s weekend getaway in Eugene. It was extremely cozy and full of charm. The neighborhood was very private and very walkable for the entire weekend. We would stay again if we’re ever in Eugene in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place. The house is located on such a beautiful property. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet and loved walking around their orchards.

This place is larger than expected. The directions she gave were very accurate and helpful!! So easy to get to and get inside. It is exactly like the pics. Yes, you need to navigate stairs to a loft. Sooooooo happy to have a portable air conditioner in the loft as it was needed. The house had everything you needed. The shower was so nice! Perfect pressure and warm and cozy. I would mist definitely stay here again! Loved this place!! Loved it! Just be careful for the parking on the street as you might get a ticket.

Absolutely amazing stay at this riverside cottage. Very peaceful and tranquil. Fenced yard is nice for dogs but also tons of open space to bring dogs by the river. This inside was very homey and quite spacious. Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

This place was perfect! Very private and surrounded by lush trees and beautiful flowers upon entering the cozy cottage. The inside was classy and neat, not overdone and very welcoming and homey; made me want to stay and live there. This definitely was one of our favorite stays and will book again when I need to head over to Eugene. Perfect shot to the highway! The host was very accommodating, quick to reply and was one of the best hosts I’ve ever dealt with! 5 stars!! Perfect. Thank you again!

I loved staying in this sweet little space! It’s very well-equipped and even though I didn’t do any cooking while there, I could see that I’d have everything I needed. Internet worked great for my remote work and it was a fun bonus that the hostess is an artist whose work I love! A very fun surprise upon arrival 🤩 Thank you, Shanna and Monica!

Incredible stay on a beautiful property. Proximity to the creek and the grounds were wonderful, and the house was thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. We will be back!
