Nicole’s house was very welcoming and very spacious . She had stocked with a lot of stuff and we didn’t need anything from outside . It was a very cozy and a very clean house . It was a beautiful place exactly as described in the pictures . Nicole was very responsive to my messages . The house was very well kept . The beds were very comfy and even the linens were great . We were very comfortable while sleeping . I would definitely want to stay there again and again !

Our stay at Mallard at Church Lake was fantastic! The A-frame design is stunning with beautiful decor throughout. The kitchen setup was perfect, and we loved using the outdoor grill for lakeside meals. As birding enthusiasts, we added many new species to our Life List and learned fascinating details about mallard duck behavior and life cycles. The location is a nature lover's dream. What really set this property apart were the excellent accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, no-threshold shower, seamless floor transitions, etc., which accommodated our disabilities. The hosts were communicative before and during our stay, making everything seamless. We enjoyed canoeing and paddleboarding during the day and incredible stargazing at night under clear skies. This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty. We'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially those needing accessible accommodations!

This place is stunning! Within 5 minutes of arriving we knew this was going to be a great trip. Richie was very helpful and the arrival was smooth. The location is so picturesque; the view is amazing. The 3 beaches are completely private. The walk through the small path to the rocks was a great discovery and we spent time just sitting on the rocks enjoying the scenery. The house is beautiful and everything you could possibly need was provided. Even the towels were so soft and fluffy. The wood burning stove was a real treat on a chilly evening. The house is spotlessly clean and very well decorated. It’s a quiet area but not far from Peggy’s Cove or Halifax. Overall I can recommend this property enough. If Richie ever decides to sell I’ll be first in the queue. Overall a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Richie :)

We loved the location and the lake access was clean and well maintained. Had to contact Tanya a couple times for miscellaneous things like BBQ access and she always replied promptly. The place was clean, attractive and comfortable. The welcome items were over and above what I've experienced. Thank you making us feel welcome and sharing a part of your home with us

We have done a lot of traveling. This was our favorite AIRBNB ever. Its a bit of a trek outside the city, but if you are seeking peace and tranquility this is the ticket. The property is beautifully designed and has everything you need and more. The owners are excellent communicators. Although we try not to duplicate our trips (too much to see in this world) this would be one we'd consider. Too often you need a vacation from your vacation...not here.

I just finished a long-term stay at this wonderful Airbnb. It’s very clean, quiet and comfortable. Alanna and Kevin are great hosts and were very quick to respond to any questions I had. They’ve paid attention to every small detail and nothing is overlooked or missing. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Alanna and Kevin!

What a wonderful spot! And with a beautiful view from the large windows and balcony. A great space, and Carmen was a great and accommodating host. We really appreciated her providing litter, and some things for our cat! Really lovely to not have to pack those things. Thank you Carmen for hosting us. We'll definitely keep this spot in mind for future getaways.
