Beautifully renovated 1850 Greek revival house. Private apartment is on the second floor with private wide accessible outside stairway. It is a 3-4 room apartment and is perfect for a couple and at most a total of 4 adults. PLEASE NOTE if you are not a couple and do not want to share a bed , you will need to rent the second bedroom at $45 per night per each additional person.The location is perfect in the center of quaint picturesque downtown Wellfleet. Private parking. No children under 8.

Johanna's historic cottage was magical. It's in a very special spot. Staying there felt like a step back in time with the 16" wide plank floors, orginal doors and colonial latch hardware, the enormous brick fireplace, that must have been the kitchen hearth and the low beamed ceilings. It is superbly located steps from Wellfleet Harbor and the oyster flats where there's a gorgeous peaceful beach. The seafaring culture, history and early american architecure are completely enveloping and enchanting. Excusions to anywhere on the Cape were just a hop skip and jump from Wellfleet, which really enriched my whole stay there. I have no hestitation in recommending Johanna's cottage.

It's a wonderful Cape cottage with personality and charm just steps from the water. The house was clean and well-stocked with kitchen supplies. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and walking the coastal trails. Jude was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Amazing home. Fantastic location. Peaceful and relaxing. One of our favorite vacation stays ever. Never turned the tv on… unusual for me. Hosts really thought of everything and more. Highly recommend if you are visiting Cape COD. 5+ stars.

So peaceful. One of the neighbors we encountered a couple of times was a fox. The walks to the beaches were great. Wonderful appliances. Loved the induction range. Refrigerator was aesthetically awesome. Clean. Well appointed. We were definitely curious about the high tide covering the causeway, but turns out that a lot of the high tides are not high enough to do so, so we didn't get to see that. Tara checked in to make sure everything was good. Would definitely come again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Patty and Tony. The house is beautiful, cozy, peaceful, and had all what we needed for our stay. The location is prime, within 5-10min drive distance to great restaurants and 10-20min drive to wonderful beaches. Patty and Tony were friendly and responsive, and provided us with great recommendations. We would to come back another time!
