Slave’s place was absolutely incredible. A beautiful escape from the outside world. It’s so remote and peaceful that we really forgot about anyone and everyone else! Slave and his wife were so wonderful and hospitable. A highlight for both of us was at check out when we had a lovely chat over some rakija, coffee and fresh vegetables. One of the highlights of our Balkans trip definitely and we would love to come back again!

Very nice villa. I'd love to come back. Everything stylishly decorated. Nice receptionist. Just a pity, it didn't have much hot water to fill the whirlpool. Was too cold to use it. Otherwise very satisfied

Simon was a great host! His house was fully stocked and heated when we arrived in the evening. The fireplace is great at heating the entire house, but there are also individual heaters for every room. The house is not at all far from the ski resort and even if you don't want to ski there are lots of beautiful and scenic walks in the area. I highly recommend renting out this house if you and a family or friends want to have a great place to rest while enjoying the natural beauty of Mavrovo.

We had a 3night stay to explore the area and the location for us was ideal to explore the National park to the south, south of the lake and Ohrid. Lake access over the road was great with the kids to throw stones. Simple things! All as described and informative host. Thank you for our stay :-)
