What a fantastic place and a wonderful host Tim is. The property was beautiful and so well thought through. The property is really light and airy with the high ceiling and lots of windows. Bed was comfy. Kitchen well equipped. And we really enjoyed the record collection and player. We spend a few hours on an evening just sitting and chilling, listening to some records, and looking at the windows over the garden and lake. You absolutely MUST go for a swim in the lake while staying here, or even take out a kayak or the pedalo. The lake is a dark water lake as it has a lot of iron in it (as Tim told us), but the water is very very clean, and the temperature just right when we visited in early August. Beautiful to swim in. Tim was always on hand to answer any questions about the area and the history, and to give recommendations for places to see, eat, and shop etc. Hopefully one day we will be back out this way again, and this would be the first place we'd try to book.

Loved it ! My kinda place. Right on the water in such a cute historic town. Enjoyed walking a hundred meters to the wharf and watching the birds in a nearby island. Such a great location as everything g is in walking distance including a wonderful bog hike. Room is as comfortable as can be. Host is very nice to work with. Town is filled with very helpful and interesting people.

We really enjoyed our three days at the house. Rena was the perfect host, very accommodating and always quick to respond when we had questions. The house was much larger than anticipated and had everything you could need. I would highly recommend this house for more extended holidays. Close location to Mavilette beach is an added bonus.

Wow! This Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous! Meticulously clean throughout,& the beds were very comfortable.The view outdoors was stunning and our stay could not of been more perfect.. definitely rate it a 10/10!! Thank you so much Kelley for a wonderful night in your beautiful yurt.I surprised my hubby for his 50th bday and it was a hit! He loved it 😁 if you’re looking for a relaxing, peaceful retreat this is it!
