Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Matosinhos

The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood and is within 20-25 minutes walking distance to Praca da Ribeira if you don’t stop anywhere along the way (which is next to impossible). We liked the location as it was close to city center and other nice neighborhoods we got to explore. The apartment itself was great, it was spotless clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The keys weee in a lockbox so checkin was a breeze and although we didn’t actually meet Andre, we communicated very well via the app. He provided some excellent recommendations for restaurants in the different neighborhoods and we tried a couple that ended up being great! Parking was another great feature, just around the corner from the apartment. It’s a narrow door to go through indeed but not an issue with a midsize car. The best feature of the apartment though was the opportunity to start your day on the balcony with a coffee in the sun! I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This a true home away from home, and made our vacation just that much better! At day’s end, we looked forward to retreating to this spotless apartment that clearly has received love and care by its owner. From its art to its book collection, its spacious bedrooms and beautiful sunroom and terrace, the apartment wants for nothing. Paula is super responsive and exceptionally considerate — even providing personalized walking maps for us! I have stayed in Airbnbs all over the world, and this — by far — was my favorite. Was even better than the description — I didn’t know that was possible. Thank you, Paula, for a wonderful and memorable stay! Can’t wait to come back!

Ana was very welcoming and kind. She was also available and responsive. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. It may have lacked an oven or microwave, but there were still hotplates and cooking utensils. The location is perfect for accessing the various activities (close to downtown and the train station). On the other hand, the downstairs staircase was occupied by smokers (this brought bad smells) and the street was noisy (we woke up early in the morning).

Place was perfect for me and my partner; the size, the amenities, and the area. It was so easy to move around, and we could always go back to the place if we needed to. The building had other rooms but our neighbours never bothered us nor anything. It felt safe and secure. What really stood out was the hosts’ availability for an earlier check-in; super kind and no problem at all. I would really recommend this spot for couples who are looking to explore Porto ☺️

What a nice stay at Estefania's. The cottage is located in a quiet street but close to the bridge and the center. Everything is within walking distance. Adelino gave us a warm welcome and gave us a lot of tips on what to do in Porto. Nearby are restaurants and a supermarket. In the evening, it is nice in the park by the bridge, watching the sunset with nice music. Highly recommended. Together with my sisters enjoyed the beautiful Porto

Me, my husband and our kitty feel very welcome in the house. Rosa was very polite and friendly. The house is very spacious, ventilated and sunshine. There is a wooded area in the back, great for those who like nature. The weekly cleaning is excellent.

We love the stay. Cozy, comfortable, very clean house with all the necessary items to really feel at home. Daniel was extremely helpful, kind and accessible at all times. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Porto.

The space is simply stunning, perfect for resting the mind and recharging the soul. And as if the surrounding nature and tranquility of the place were not enough, we had charming visitors: adorable kittens that appeared unexpectedly and immediately won our hearts. They were a sweet and caring asset, which gave even more life to our stay. We recommend it with our eyes closed - and with our hearts full.

House was clean and beautiful, our family really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Peaceful street with the convenience of both cafe and restaurants close by. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend staying at Tiago’s home to anyone.

The place was very nice and corresponded to the photos, the communication on the day of check-in was somewhat problematic because we arrived earlier but they allowed us to stay even though it was not the time. It is close to the train in a quiet area, you can park the car in the driveway, there is a nice patio and the house just like the photos and it is equipped with everything you can get to live the days you stay, we really liked it.

Staying tucked in at an AirBnB is not typically the highlight of the trip to a city as beautiful and full of adventure as Porto, but Ester’s place is just so wonderful that it remains one of the fondest parts of our trip. Though we did spend most of our time out and about, the view from the house is a palpable uplifting way to begin and end each day. Ester made recommendations for some fabulous local restaurants. She is simply THE most precious host ever. Her place is organically artistic (no pretense - no clutter). While the house looks like the photos, it is more spacious, more natural light and a more lovely floor plan than indicated by the photos. The garden is delightful and mostly private. This is a special place!

Good people Very nice communication

Rui and Sergey have a lovely place. They were very friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and had excellent storage. They have since updated their main bathroom, which is now one of the nicest bathrooms I have seen (spacious, new, and great shower)!! The location was also very nice. It was far enough away from the hub of the city for quiet, but close enough to walk to Porto (25-30 min of a nice, pretty walk). The metro is also very close (8 min), which was so very convenient. Being able to use a washing machine was a huge plus too. Overall it was a great value!

We were happy to stay outside of the lot of noise from the street all night. The apartment is missing an electric kettle, which would make it easier to boil water. The contact with the host is efficient, he prepared an apartment that was clean. Extra linens, a set of towels for everyone. There was also an extra electric heater that could be turned on on cold nights, however, it can't be used at the same time with the dryer as the traffic jams in the apartment are getting out. An apartment equipped with everything you need except for a kettle. Accessible location next to bus stop. I recommend staying in an apartment.

This place was an intermission for us and it was perfect! The balcony was peaceful, the surrounding area was quiet compared to being in the heart of Porto which was nice. The bed was very comfortable and we could not be more thankful! Thank you. Walking distance from bus stop!

Rosario is a great host. The place is clean and well equipped. In addition, the location is great: very close to the beach and good restaurants. I only can recommend it. Will certainly return.

Hello André, Thank you for everything. The apartment is very good, it has a very spacious terrace, although the views are not very good, you can only see four rolls. Very nice touch to leave all the apps and games installed on the TV, they were a great help! Another detail to note are the good local buns and desserts, very tasty. On the other hand, there was no good night or day atmosphere, who am I kidding (well, some Darth Vader out there). Another thing to improve is the modernization of the front door. Overall, chilling, chilling in the milling.

Amazing host and base to explore nearby Porto! Luiz was extremely helpful with tips regarding restaurants, sites, and nearby day trips. He went out of his way to make sure we were finding everything useful in the city and for anything we needed in the apartment he was a quick call away. The apartment was clean and in a great location and the building has great amenities including parking, pool, gym squash, pool etc. Would definitely recommend if traveling to Porto!
