Originally from Guïnes, a country town an hour from Havana, we decided to move to Playa Larga this year. I, Alain, as a child spent my summers in the Ciénaga de Zapata, to which Playa Larga belongs, and I am very fond of the area. The Ciénaga is a beautiful place, a national park, considered a biosphere reserve with more than 250 species of birds.
