The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Outside you'll find a private patio where you can curl into the nest chair or dine outside on nice days. We aim for you to feel as though you’re visiting family. The property features a spacious yard with a swing set & sandbox for kids. Pat may greet you on arrival & is always happy to share his love of Alaska & local insights. Ron’s Knik Glacier Views is a brand-new private guest suite with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and River. Includes 120-acres of Alaskan wilderness with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room, sleeps 6. The accommodations include a walk out, wrap-around balcony. The 1250 sqft suite is the entire 2nd floor of my home. It is accessed by its own staircase and balcony. A 3-mile hiking trail takes you to 5500 ft. The apartment is a great base location to explore Alaska with easy driving to hiking, fishing and local tourist attractions. Alaska state fairgrounds are a quick 15 minute drive away.

The entrance is private and is accessed from the private driveway. Outside there is a bar-B-Que Grill, Firepit and yard. If a need arises during your stay, we are an email or phone call away.
