Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Masthope

This Airbnb experience was hands down our best family vacation to date! The place was beautifully decorated and Ms. Diana put great consideration into making this a memorable family vacation for each and everyone one of us in our group. She added personal touches to make it extra special for the holidays! There was an abundance of space with clean, new appliances throughout the home. The outdoor fire pit and tree swing were added bonuses and made for a great night making s’mores and roasting hot dogs. We would highly recommend booking this Airbnb! Our family will definitely be back!

First Stavros was a stellar host. Proactive in communication and always responsive. Very attentive, we had one small interruption with the wifi that he promptly addressed before we even noticed! The house property is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, peaceful, spacious, very beautiful. The house has everything well stocked. Kitchen had plenty. I can't find one thing to comment that isn't positive. We all enjoyed ourselves to the max. The most enjoyable was the three walls full of windows that made the thunderstorms so beautiful to watch in the living room. The little stream in the back so pleasant to sit silently. This was not my first stay. Each time I return, there is something wonderously new in the outdoor or indoor space! Such a peaceful setting! one of my very favorite Air bnbs! The Van Scott Nature Conservancy is right down the road. You can walk there or drive. Beautiful walking trails on a preserved farm. Perfect hidden gem! Try the Launderette for a gourmet pizza overlooking the Delaware River in Narrowsburg. Just a short ride from Shangrila! Save some room for some amazing desserts baked by the owner. Perfection!

This house is a must stay if you are coming to the area, especially for Ski- Big Bear. The house is warm, cozy, clean, and very comfortable. We loved this house and all of the wonderful recommendations provided in Erin’s guidebook. Looking forward to our next trip back!

Such a perfect getaway spot. The house was super clean and felt like home. We took advantage of the fire pit and the grill, the hot tub was a great addition! Definitely will be coming back!

If you’ve stayed at their former AirB&B, the Art Cabin in the Woods, you’ll remember the little touches that made it magical, surprises at every turn - imagine that x5, that’s what you find here. GORGEOUS indoor space that’s colorful, whimsical and yet upscale & refined, from the radiant heated floors to the fully stocked gourmet kitchen..the cozy living room with the biggest TV I’ve ever seen to the bedroom’s atmospheric wall-mounted fireplace.. the PERFECT mattress & the deepest soaking tub these old bones have ever had the pleasure to melt in! True luxury Outside - hot tub, grill, fire pit, wood-burning sauna…3 decks, seating everywhere, and the views…all speak for themselves. 2 nights wasn’t enough, strongly suggest minimum 3, I’m already planning!!

Perfect place for a long weekend with our family. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and an absolutely beautiful location. Right on the water with access to multiple kayaks. Very peaceful setting with easy access to nearby towns like Monticello and White Lake.

I stay away from my family for work most of the year, which is not fun. It was very nice to have a place like this to stay at well recommended very relaxing very enjoyable.

Julia’s place was just as described. She was very responsive and helpful. The day passes for minerals were a real treat! We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

We had a great stay! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Jennifer left toiletries in the bathroom that came very useful. There was even an adorable arrangement of flowers left on the mantle being that it was my birthday weekend. She was very responsive!

Hello, we absolutely enjoyed our stay! We were traveling with our dog decided to try and find a reasonable area in Scranton. We loved the security aspects! the check in was seamless and easy. The locks automatically locked a few seconds after the door shutting. Silvia did a wonderful job decorating and made the studio look very lovely. Loved our stay and thank you again!

Sarah's loft was exactly as described. Parking was handy and the space felt safe. We were able to walk to a fantastic Italian restaurant as well as a nice walking path near the river. We definitely recommend this loft, especially for couples.

One of the best AirBnbs I’ve stayed at. Peaceful, cozy. Felt like a little “nest” up on the top floor of the building. Everything you need to have a home away from home. Esther was incredibly responsive and gracious. 10/10 recommend!

John is a super attentive host and the place is a nice clean basement apartment with lots of wildlife! It was the perfect set up for our trip to Bethel. Would def stay here again!

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. The home was absolutely amazing—truly even better than the pictures. The photos don’t do it justice. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the clear directions and easy check-in to the beautiful space itself. The host was very friendly and highly communicative throughout. I honestly wish we could build a place like this in the future. This has been the best Airbnb I’ve booked since I started using the platform back in 2010. You will love this place—highly recommended!

Our group had an amazing time here. Kevin was very responsive and helpful and had great recommendations for hiking and kayaking. It is a beautiful home with plenty of amenities and things to do.

We would return without a second thought. Before we arrived, the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Friendly communication from deposit to check out. 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays. The house was very clean and easy to access. The first things we noticed were the updates to the house. The dining table was large and comfortable for 8 adults. The living room had a large sectional sofa perfect for gathering. Each bedroom had also been updated. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and nice linens. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the game room and movie theater! 6 large recliners and comfy floor seating made us feel like we had a night out, without going out. The backyard had a large fire ring and new chairs, but we did not take advantage of them. We did use the large propane grill and hot tub, both were in excellent condition. The kitchen was well appointed and the large fridge was great as we ate in for all meals.

Our family weekend at Casa Julia was awesome. All 3 generations loved the layout of the house and the beautiful lake across the street. The house was nicely decorated, matched the pictures, and had everything we needed. It was a great home base for relaxation and exploring the Catskills!

Henry’s home was a great experience. The inside is very spacious and beautifully decorated. There are lots of games to play and tvs in most rooms to watch your favorite show. The pool was a little small but still very fun and the hot tub was great. The sauna was very steamy and enjoyable.

Great setting, lots of beautiful areas to explore, and very private. Paula was a great host, and also gave great local recommendations.

This place was beautiful! Soooo many amenities, space, and had everything we needed plus more! Everything was so clean and labeled with clear instructions. The Hot tub, movie room, and blackstone grill with the outdoor fire place made for great bonding and relaxation for our group. Every part of the house had great details. The Sonos speaker and led lights created the perfect vibe! Craig was very helpful and accommodating! I have been recommending this place to other friends and family already! Will be posting a full review on TikTok. I loved this Airbnb and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything Craig!
