This place was fantastic! it was beautiful, well stocked with everything you could think of. There is a train that scared us the first night, but after that we didn't really notice it. we will return to this place. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

Great property. Owners left great instructions, and the house was private. The deer were an added bonus with the hot tub. Will be back for the winter. 5 Stars

My family was thrilled with their peaceful retreat in the mountains. Brenda made my mother’s birthday an enjoyable and unforgettable weekend. She made sure to hang a birthday banner for her, provided clear and thorough instructions on how to use all the amenities and the house was well-equiped with everything that a family needs. My family and I will definitely be coming back. The scenery is beautiful, quiet and spacious. We are eternally grateful for an amazing experience and happy to have spent some time away from the busy and loud city. Thank you!

The house was impressively clean. It was very private, and had a good amount of space for our family. We found our stay to be very comfortable. The space was well supplied. Nicole‘s communication was excellent, and we had an easy time getting in and checking out. It was in close driving proximity to Shenandoah national Park and downtown Luray which we enjoyed.

My family and I had a great time staying in the home. The images did not do it justice. We were shocked by the beauty of the views and scenery from their home. The property was large and our kids had a blast running around and playing in the treehouse. Highly recommend the place if you like nature and scenery. The train did pass a few times but our kids (ages 2-7) were fine with white noise at night. It didn’t disrupt our time at all. We also really enjoyed the game room. My wife loved using the kitchen and we were thankful they kept some spices on hand. The home is very kid friendly and one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We grilled, watched the stars from the jacuzzi, picnicked and explored the grounds. We even got to use the laundry room with a quick help from the host. Highly recommend!!

We were so very pleased with this home. A five star is hard to hand out but this home got it! This is a pet friendly home which you would not even know the house was so clean had no smells of pets. The pictures were accurate the views were amazing. We loved the area the town was quaint the local restaurant were very good. The hot tub was crystal clean. Rules were clearly and cutely posted made our stay very simple. 5stars for sure

Beautiful space! The view was gorgeous and the home was very clean. It included everything you would could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. It was an easy drive to Harrisonburg and we also enjoyed the hot tub!

This place is heaven on Earth! The house is gorgeous and it’s full of details that make it extremely cozy. Jack is a wonderful host! Be prepared for a very friendly man, always willing to socialize and make you feel like home. I am so happy that we found this place, so close from the park and wineries. If you want to spend the day at the house, that’s also a great idea, because the backyard is full of trees, birds and places to relax. Also, if you’re lucky, you’ll see cats, wild turkeys or even deer. Ask Jack for recommendations basically about anything! He’ll provide you with fun stories and a huge respect for nature. This really felt like our country, Chile 🇨🇱. We’re coming back sooner than later ☺️

The only complaint I have is that we had to leave. My 94 year old mom gets true peace and relaxation there, and I always want to stay longer. Jack is the best host!

We stayed at Darwin’s beautiful and clean home for my son’s JMU graduation. We had plenty of space for all of us and we were very comfortable. Darwin is very responsive to any issue and the check in is very easy. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet place to stay.

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

Veronica is an amazing host and we had a wonderful time staying there. The place is true to the name - A Time to Chill. We felt right at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kids had a fun time playing arcade games and Foosball. Our evenings were spend mostly in the backyard either in the hot tub or having fun around the bonfire. We couldn't try the pizza oven and felt we should have stayed longer. Definitely, a highly recommended place and we will love to be back soon.

Jack was a wonderful host. He was attentive and responsive throughout my stay. He made me breakfast every morning which was a huge perk. I hope to come back someday.

Jacks is the best for a getaway to just relax and enjoy the nature. We drove 45 mins to Old Rag to hike for the day then got to make dinner and relax in the hot tub. Bed was super comfy and will highly recommend Jacks place. Jack is accommodating and helpful and great to chat with or respect your privacy as well.

I feel like I walked straight into the pictures in this listing. It was a cozy cabin with a nice hot-tub and grill. We truly enjoyed watching the sunset from the porch while roasting smores over the fire table. We even watched the stars from the deck at night. 4wd/awd vehicle is definitely a must (traction not clearance) we were able to handle the driveway in a BMW sedan. Before we had even booked I asked Lindsey a question and she was extremely quick to respond. She was also prompt and helpful during our stay. 10/10 Hope to stay again. (Also if you hear sounds at night don’t get spooked it’s just deer LOL)

Myself and my family were looking for a cabin near Shenandoah for a couple of nights, and Afrina’s property exceeded all expectations. It’s situated far enough out of town to achieve the peaceful tranquility that you might be looking for, yet close enough so that you’re not too far away from local necessities and amenities. The cabin itself is beautiful, has all the up-to-date appliances that you would need, but the real stand out feature is the hot tub! We had a great time and would highly recommend

Lovely home at the top of a mountain in a Shenandoah neighborhood. 4WD is very useful on the steep roads. We traveled with a 3 and 8 year old. The cabin had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable and it was super helpful to have access to a washer and dryer. We even had a surprise black bear visitor to the exterior trash can which made for an exciting trip for all! We felt very safe. The hosts are accommodating of families providing little touches like toys, night lights, and a cool backyard space. We anticipated the game room would be the highlight of our stay but our family much preferred the well maintained hot tub and fire pit. Thanks for a great mountain retreat while we visited Shenandoah!

We stayed at this Airbnb for a bachelorette weekend with six adults, and it was absolutely beautiful—both inside and out. Three of us stayed upstairs, while the other three used the bunk beds, which were surprisingly comfortable and conveniently located near a full bathroom on the same floor. We were especially relieved to have a screened-in porch, which made it easy to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs. The house was thoughtfully stocked with essentials, including a charming coffee bar and plenty of towels. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend this spot for a fun and relaxing mountain getaway!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was cozy and had stunning views—just as described. The host was kind and responsive, which made everything easy and enjoyable. One tip for future guests: check the fireplaces and other amenities early on. We initially couldn’t get the indoor fireplace to work and thought it was user error. The next day, we discovered the outdoor one wasn’t working either due to empty gas tanks. Once we let the host know, they quickly arranged for a refill. Aside from that small hiccup, everything else was perfect. The home was a beautiful, peaceful place to relax. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely love to stay again!

Perfect Getaway! We had the most amazing honeymoon stay at this Airbnb! The cabin was immaculately clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets. The hosts truly went above and beyond to make the space welcoming and romantic. The amenities were everything we desired: from spending our evenings soaking in the hot tub, grilling under the stars, to relaxing by the fire pit. They even provided skewers for s’mores! Every detail made our stay feel special and memorable. One thing to note: the road leading up to the cabin is rocky and rough, so I’d recommend visiting in a vehicle that can handle uneven terrain. But—it’s absolutely worth the drive once you arrive. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, and beautiful getaway.

Lea’s place was phenomenal, I highly recommend this stay and Lea as a host. Amenities were great, the place was clean, and if we’re back down that way, we’ll for sure be visiting again.

Ray's cabin was a perfect place to celebrate my husband's birthday! We started with a Shenandoah trail wine tour and came back to enjoy the sunset in the hot tub with a few of our close friends. Ray was proactive and even personally called me to ensure we were ready for the stay. There was even a birthday banner hung inside for the special occasion! Everything was clean and looked just like the photos. The game room was a hit towards the end of the night with basketball and foosball table! We will be back again for sure! thank you so much, Ray!
