Use the Wi-fi to stay connected or unplug and enjoy the serenity and quiet. Watch DVDs or streaming services on the big screen TV or move outdoors and enjoy the ‘really big’ natural spaces with amazing sunsets. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, cookware and spices. Laundry room is equipped with a washer/dryer and is large enough for storage needs.

Quiet, relaxing getaway with nature AND close enough to drink some wine while shopping Main Street Fredericksburg-this is your spot. A short 16 mile drive to Main St you'll find award winning wineries, spectacular restaurants and boutique shopping! Unwind on the porch, explore, swing on the hammock gazing at the stars. Stay in to cook a meal, read a book, watch movies or gaze out the windows and see wild turkeys, cows and other animals passing by.

Fort Mason Outpost Guest House

Built in 2001 this 2 story rock home was designed to replicate early Texas frontier barracks to house soldiers in Outpost Forts they served. Located in quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of Mason's historic courthouse square with plentiful restaurants, wine bars, museums, and boutiques. Rock away your cares on the tree-topped upper porch! We welcome children but please no pets. Single or multiple nights available.
