Serenity on School Lake is your own little paradise! This cozy country cottage sits on it's own private lake (approx 200 yards from the home) with lots of wildlife. Watch the geese land and deer drink from the lake all while sitting on the walk out deck. Ranch style home with 2 BRs + 1 full bath upstairs with a partially finished 3rd BR and 3/4 bath downstairs. Our long-awaited guest space in the LOWER LEVEL ( as in basement!) . There is a Living room, bedroom, bathroom w shower, a small kitchen with sink and small appliances. Decor is kept in clean and earthy colors. The entry is semi-private from Garage. Guests will enter through the garage into the home and then immediately find the access door to the basement. Reiki -and esthetician services are available in-house upon appointment. Stand-by Generator keeps us going throughout power-outages

The second floor has the bedrooms and bath for more privacy, and a sitting area for reading or relaxing. There are many stairs! Well water.

As you turn off the main road into our cabin's driveway, you will begin to understand why this is our hidden gem. Maybe you will hear the horned owl at night or see an eagle while you kayak. Your adventure or a peaceful vacation awaits.

Welcome to Reel-Axe-Inn cottage on 525 acre all sports Union Lake. Our cottage is small but functional! We are about 10 min. from Union City & Athens, 25 min from Coldwater. During summer season you can bring a boat or jet ski's to put in at the public dock & enjoy our floating raft (no diving), dock/seawall area is a great fishing location (bring your own fishing gear), we have 2 kayaks for you to enjoy, fire pit, lots of outdoor seating in both sun &shade.
