I designed this home to have 2 separate living spaces with private entrances on opposite sides of the house. The front is the vacation rental entrance accessing the entire first/lower level. My entrance is on the back side of the property. My family owns part of Lake Shore Island located on Guntersville Lake. There are 5 houses on our property scattered over 8 acres. My home and vacation rental is about 3 football fields from the shore, up the hill, providing beautiful views of the lake.

Our new hand crafted Nivendale cabin uses cedar, poplar, oak, pine and driftwood harvested from our 150+ acre lakefront property. The unique rustic mock treehouse design has a large raised deck with an outdoor tree trunk window seat. Set among massive shady trees, it is beautifully furnished. Guests can enjoy our large adjacent campground shoreline with a swimming pier, and boat launch and canoe use at no charge. Recently featured in our local paper, there is no cabin quite like this.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Sleep 7 kids in the bunk room and 6 adults downstairs. Beautiful owner’s suite and comfortable guest rooms. 3.5 bathrooms. Pack a picnic and walk or drive the golf cart to go to the boathouse where you can sit on the covered deck, layout on the sundeck, or cool off in the water. Amazing Views!
