Balmville Mid-Century Gem & Work From Home Retreat

BrookeRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Even better than the pictures! This was one of our favorite Airbnb experiences, super cute and eclectic house. We loved the style, the bathrooms made me want to renovate my own, and the beds were too comfortable if that’s possible lol. Perfect for vacation. The house was centrally located to the airport and the Bible museums and printery we booked to tour. Overall, we had just a lovely stay and cannot wait to go back!

Historic Hudson River View House

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Eve’s place is great! It is warm and welcoming with lots of charm. It fit the three of us (my wife, me, and our son) comfortably. It is a 15-20 minute drive to Vassar College, 10 to Marist or the Culinary Institute, and 20 to Bard College. It is right on the Hudson River in a quiet neighborhood. Communication was easy and helpful. I recommend Eve’s place highly.

Clove Schoolhouse on Mohonk Preserve

JeannineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our stay at the schoolhouse…it is a cool place! Rooms are spacious and ceilings are high, but felt homey. Large windows bring the outside in, nice when you get some chilly, rainy days like we did. Needed to take the chill off some of the time and the living space warmed up quickly with the split element. Amenities all good, beds comfortable, and easy hosts to work with. Central to local attractions, especially hiking. We particularly liked the breakfast nook overlooking the back and listening to the local ravens chatting away. Enjoyed patio and preserve treeline - nice spot for birds. We would stay here again, for sure.

Prvt pool Huge, Eclectic space… 1.5 hr to NYC!

PatriciaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Blake is a kind and attentive host. The house is fun and eclectic. Many interesting things to look at, art books to leaf through and she has a great record album collection. It has all the necessities you would hope to see in an airbandb. I like the location. We enjoyed taking a hike in Mount Beacon park to see the remnants of an old casino and great views of the Hudson Valley.

Modern Upstate Cabin, near Rhinebeck NY

EllieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We recently stayed at Tina's and had a great time. The location is secluded, incredibly peaceful and quiet — all you can hear are the birds in the morning. The home itself is clean and looks just like the photos. We also loved that we could bring our dog along with us. We live in the city so our pup doesn't get to touch much grass, and he had a blast running through the fenced-in yard. Although we originally booked because the house has a pool and we were hoping for good weather, it rained almost the entire time we were there... Nonetheless, it felt like the coziest home for a rainy weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting inside by the fire to watch a movie, cooking in the kitchen and building a fire outside when the rain stopped. The location was also great for driving into Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Hudson and surrounding breweries and wineries.

We stayed during a rainy and cold weekend in May. We were worried due to weather, but it turned out better than we've imagined. Snoozing through sounds of rain.. warm cup of coffee, birds chirping, smell of wet grass! we had a very restful experience. Whatever you think you might need- is there, from phone chargers to umbrellas. Bedding is comfy and very clean. Space heater does a great job keeping the entire unit warm. Tiny Horse Barn

LisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband and I arrived late, around 9:30pm, because we had commuted after work in NYC. Everything was impeccable. The home is perfect in some many ways. We felt very comfortable and got an amazing night's sleep. The following more we had to head out early to pick our daughter up from Binghamton. She stayed with us on our second night. Nicolette's and Tim's Tiny Horse Barn is so perfect. It is exact amount of space we needed. Even though the space is space, there were 5 tissue boxes in perfect locations. This may seem a small thing to some. But if you have allergies, it is SO appreciated. The kitchen was equipped with keurig coffee pods, creamers, sugar, tea kettle and more than everything we needed. Equally the bathroom was perfect. The beds were super comfortable as was the temperature. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The attention to detail is amazing. Everywhere there are little hints of horses, but not in an overwhelming way. We actually are having book sent :)
