The four of us had a nice time over the weekend and enjoyed the house. The hosts were very friendly. We will be happy to book again!

We spent some nice days at Klaus's place in Selkentrop. The accommodation is newly renovated, totally cozy, clean and is very quiet and close to nature – ideal for a small break with children. Especially great: the private playground right by the house. Everything was well equipped and child friendly (high chair, fall-out protection by the bed). Otherwise, everything was great and Klaus, who lives on the property with his family, was very friendly and easily accessible.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay. Cedric and his family are very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed spending a weekend on their farm. The alpacas are a great addition, very nice to meet them.

We've already been to here for the second time and - this time despite rainy weather - we felt very comfortable again!We were well provided with tips and hints from host Andrea. The kitchen is super equipped and above all the garden is wonderful thanks to roses and seating and even a fire bowl. On foot, we were able to quickly (5-10 min) leave the less exciting residential area behind us and were in the forest and fields with the cows. We will be happy to come back!

Although we were only there for one night, we felt comfortable right away. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable and the terrace large. Definitely worth the money and we would book it again anytime.

We had a wonderful day at Karen‘s house nestled in the woods in an old disused quarry. We even spotted some wildlife and an owl. Karen and her husband gave us a warm, friendly welcome and made recommendations of local restaurants and cultural attractions in Dortmund to visit. Karen went above and beyond and also posted me an item that I had forgotten and left at the house.l, which we thought was so kind and thoughtful. The house is in a very quiet, peaceful area so you’re guaranteed a good night sleep. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable fully equipped kitchen and good shower. Easy access to the city by car or taxi. Also a really good restaurant serving traditional German food a five minute walk from the House called WurstHaus Krämer. I would highly recommend this house and wouldn’t hesitate before staying there again when visiting Dortmund next time.

Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm manner. The place is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in every corner. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, extraordinary and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area and watched the cats and ducks and listened to the pouring rain. The Baldeneysee is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. A very nice apartment, with everything you need. Clean, spacious and with the use of a large garden. Every morning the horses come in the meadow behind the garden. Dear and interested hosts. We'd love to come back.

Highly recommended - we were warmly welcomed and had a very spacious and super clean apartment and felt very comfortable right away. The location is also perfect, within walking distance are supermarkets, bakeries etc. The apartment was also very nicely furnished, nothing was missing. Thank you!

We had a short but sweet stay. Michael was fantastic. He went out of the way to help us out when we forgot something. The place was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed. Great stay.

I spent a great weekend here with two friends. The accommodation offers everything you need for this. The kitchen in particular is well equipped. The rooms are comfortably furnished with a lot of love for detail. We felt right at home The highlight for us, however, was the beautiful garden, where you can relax wonderfully. The stay at Bibi's and Malte's cottage was great! Check-in was super nice and everything worked smoothly. From the cottage, you can look out into the countryside and have a lot of sun from early afternoon until sunset. The sauna is really a highlight and warms you up well when it gets colder in the evening or after a cold shower outside ;) Also the bed was very comfortable. If you are looking for a break in the countryside, this is the place to be.

It was a very nice stay, very quiet location and yet good shopping, Armin welcomed us in a very friendly way and accompanied us to the log cabin. Super clean, well equipped, can recommend with a clear conscience. I recovered very well in the 4 days, my dog also loved it there. The days went by far too quickly. I'll go there again.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin, surrounded by trees and hearing birdsong. Everything was clean and comfortable and was spacious enough for two people. Stephan was really friendly and gave us some nice local recommendations. One downside was the steep ladder-stairs to get to the bedroom; we knew about that in advance but the wooden bar at the top was not great . If you’re tall, it’s not so comfortable. We did some nice walks in the area, and enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the sun

Our stay was very good. The house was beautiful, clean and exactly as pictured. Thomas was nice and helpful and gave us excellent advice.

As a family of four, we enjoyed our stay (four nights) in this cozy vacation home very much and had a wonderful break there. We found the house in a very clean condition. Everything we needed was there. Also toys for the kids, who were also able to romp around in the garden. The location at Niedersfeld was a very good starting point for us for various excursions (Hillebachsee, Golden Path, Gorge and Bridge Path, Sauerland Visitor Mine). If we spend another short vacation in the area, then we would be very happy to return to this house.

It was particularly nice that we had our peace and could even make a campfire. The accommodation was spacious, cozy and lovingly furnished. The surroundings also have plenty to offer – many beautiful hiking trails and pure nature. We would definitely come back anytime!

I went to this lovely cottage for a long weekend with my two brothers, parents and our dog. The cottage is small, but is super homely and gives a warm feeling and has everything you need; so you don't need bigger either. The surroundings are fantastic and the view is beautiful, especially when the sun is out the garden and the outdoor terrace are really great. Communication was also super nice and fast. My family and I will definitely come back here!
