Cabin vacation rentals in Marion County

John's place was the perfect landing spot for our Kentucky getaway! Close access to highways to get to Lexington and Louisville. We were able to get to distilleries, the horse parks, farms, and restaurants easily. The house was clean, spacious, and offered all the amenities to make our trip comfortable. The hot tub was a nice way to wind down, and the surrounding farm land and woods were the perfect serene backdrop.

I visited here with my two friends and we haven’t been able to stop talking about it since. I can’t wait to come back here. The property is beautiful. The hot tub is perfectly set up to view a stunning sunset. The area was also very quiet. The inside is so unique and inviting. Very very clean and fantastic layout!

This place was great and perfect for a family getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful scenery. Lots of comfortable sleeping space, as well! Would definitely recommend this spot to others traveling in the area.

We had a wonderful time, our expectations were exceeded upon arrival, and continued to be throughout our stay. We highly recommend staying here! It was a great space for big families and large groups. It was clean, updated, well taken care of, cozy, and so peaceful. It was a beautiful place to stay and we made lasting memories! Our family loved it!

Cabin 7 was PERFECT. Clean, cozy, and impeccably decorated. The location was perfect for a quiet intimate evening and for spending time on the porch with morning coffee and enjoying the birds chirping away. Conveniently short 10-minute drive into town for dining out and quick access to highways to explore parks in the area or even the Bourbon Trail. If we ever vacation in the area again, we will definitely look into booking another stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Dustin responded right away when I had questions. We felt at home and had so much to do at the house. The barn was a huge hit with kids and they liked fishing the pond! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need to cook when needed. The peacock visited us twice, he was so pretty! We hiked at Mammoth Cave, hiked and saw the Forest Giants at Bernheim Arboretum, visited The Jim Beam Distillery and downtown Bardstown restaurants and shops! So much fun, it made for a memorable birthday celebration.

Nice and peaceful but not far from town. Owner was very responsive to questions during my stay. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a swim meet in Danville. It was very easy to drive there. The house was very comfortable with lots of space for our family. My son enjoyed being in the hot tub after swimming all day. John was a wondeful host! Would definitely stay again!

What a great peaceful retreat, not too far away from Louisville. Great to relax with the birds chirping around us and not much else to disturb us! The place had a wide open but warm feel letting in plenty of light during the day. We enjoyed hanging outside on the deck and also took short hikes into the woods alongside the creek - which were so peaceful and nice. The master bedroom was cozy as well to relax in and watch movies. John was very accommodating to meet all of our needs!

Lauren was a great host! She was very responsive and kind. The home was amazing! It was perfect for our family vacation! We were able to enjoy several distilleries along the Bourbon trail and we loved coming back and relaxing in the evening! I would highly recommend this home!

If you are looking for beautiful, peaceful scenery, this is your place. Great for doggy vacays too. I took canvasses and painted outside. We didn’t get any bites fishing but still had fun. The kitchen had just about anything you could think of. FYI, the snakes on the porch are fake!! I found out the hard way. I would totally stay here again and the host was prompt in responding.

Very beautiful home, well appointed, and conducive to relaxation and nature appreciation. We loved the train sounds and bird watching. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and attentive. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful, private place to relax and enjoy Bourbon County! The kitchen came fully loaded with everything you need and the full sized refrigerator was nice as well. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to take advantage of the kayaks! My husband did through a few casts in the pond and caught a few fishes.

Such a cute place! It was exactly how it was described. We needed a place to stay while seeing a family member who had surgery and this little cottage was just what we needed. Family of 5 (including 3 teens). A perfect place where we could unplug and destress after visiting. Bonus….they had coffee and good coffee creamer fully stocked!

This place was stunning and scenic. We stayed here with family while attending a wedding in Louisville (about a 1.5-hour drive). It was comfortable, clean, and private. The host was very responsive and accommodating. If you’re traveling with family, you’ll feel right at home and find everything you need.

Place is in a quiet area and centralized for the many things Kentucky has to offer.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Allison's cabin. The location is so quiet, and the accommodations are very spacious. We enjoyed the sitting room upstairs and the absolutely fantastic shower upstairs! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed to cook meals, and there were plenty of bath linens as well. We appreciated having a washer and dryer onsite. Allison was great in her communications with us and was willing to accommodate some last-minute changes for our family. The location was central to all we wanted to do in Kentucky while we visited. The house was spotless and very well-organized with nice decorative touches as well. Thanks, Allison, for a great stay!

We stayed here for our annual guys trip and loved every minute of it! Would recommend to any and all groups!

This was a super spontaneous trip for our family and this cabin was the perfect find at the last minute! The cabin was so clean and quaint located beside the RV lot and tucked away in the woods. Cody was incredibly friendly and flexible with our check in/out. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice cabin. Excellent view. Quiet and private. Well stocked with items you need plus an abundance of blankets and towels. Good communication and 100% hassle free check in. Plenty of parking for our 3 cars. Good porch in front and back for chatting and Bourbon sipping. Will return for sure.

It was quiet and peaceful! Would love to rent again, but with out all the phone tech. I am not use to all the security. Had to get my daughter to help me. Would love to rent and check in like I would in a 4 star hotel!. Make it a great deal simpler for me! Ok?
