Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Marina Bay

We were travelling with extended family and there were a grand total of 11 of us. We had a room each and the house catered right ot our need. Everything was clean and functional. The location felt safe and there were malls and eateries within driving proximity. We spent 1 of the day in Legoland and again, the location was close to places of attraction. Will definitely return again.

Having stayed at a couple of Airbnbs in Malaysia, this is easily one of the best accommodations, hands down. From the responsive and friendly hosts, to the spotless and well-designed house, we felt right at home immediately upon checking in. While other previous accommodations have felt sterile (i.e. really just a place to stay in) , the Grove House stands out with its warm touches like providing toiletries and towels, and all necessary kitchenware. Special thanks also to the hosts for being quick to update and even gave us a bottle of wine to apologise for the late check-in due to a delay in cleaning. When we accidentally left a cooler bag with items in the fridge and left JB, they were also kind enough to help us keep it at their office for us to pick up the week after. Minor point (not the fault of the hosts!) is that is surroundings may be noisy (e.g. when cars drive past, dogs barking), but they have provided ear plugs for those who need it. We will be back the next time in JB!

It was a nice stay with 2 families, especially if you want to be near Austin Height area. Kids enjoyed the pool despite a little small. 5 bedrooms were more than enough with comfy beds. Aircon could be stronger in the living area. Kitchen and fridge is small and outdoor but not a big concern since we did not use it much.

whatever you see is whatever you get and that's absolutely worth it. the place is huge for a my group of 4. we were there for only one night with a VERY HOT weather. the aircond works fine but took long to cook the living areas. other than that, would love to return. host was very responsive which is greatly appreciated 👍

A perfect place for our first ever PongKang Sportsfest. The place had the amenities as described- basketball, badminton, billiards, football table, darts, and many more other small games. It’s a new place. Lights all over the house and garden. Michelle and Alex are one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. They’re very responsive and friendly. Definitely will come back to this place soon. Thank you for letting us stay in your place.

nice house & cozy...

Tbh, it was better than expected. The place was clean and the rooms were big and spacious enough for all of us. The entertainment that was in the house also brought a lot of fun to us. Wished we have more time and stayed for more days!

I booked the house for a family trip of 13 pax with both young and old and I am glad I did. It was a lovely and comfortable house and it was impeccably clean especially the floor. Kitchen was well equiped too. Everyone had a great time from singing karaoke to playing mahjong to and swimming. The fridge is also well stocked with drinks for guests to purchase if they didn't bring their own. The filtered water dispenser is a bonus too. Don't hesitate to book this unit when you are looking for a house to fit 12 pax.

Best host ever, Some hiccups but the host took time to call me to assure us she is gonna fix the problem. She even refunded us for the first day stay and 20% off for our next booking with her. She handled the situation swiftly. And not forgetting we checked in after midnight and she was able to reply and call me to explain and apologise soo many times. Such a nice caring person. Highly recommend. Apartment was super nice view. Very cosy. Only had to wait for the lift. Took forever. But it’s normal. Thank you Host;)🥰😍😍

The place was clean and had everything you needed. The area is safe and there’s a mall nearby so you can get any food you want. If there are some instructions for how to get there more easily if you come from JB Sentral, it would be great for the guests not to get the wrong way since it’s a bit hard to find and a bit far from that station. But nothing else I could complain about. I stayed there cozy and relaxed.

This stay really make me feel like home. It's cozy and ready with everything we need. Most importantly is the bedsheets cover and towel is clean. The only things need to improve is the water pressure.

Clean and cozy place that really felt like home 🩷 I loved the mix of yellow and white lighting — very warm and comfy. The bed was soft but supportive, and there were extra pillows and a mattress in the cupboard, which was a nice touch. The kitchen was well-equipped for simple cooking, perfect for a family trip. The fridge was large and cold enough, and the balcony was convenient for smokers. Great stay overall — I’d happily come back and recommend it to friends visiting Johor.

Great, convenient location and the apartment was clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked very well and and was a nice, cool relief from the warm weather. Shampoo and body soap was pleasant and lovely to use. The place was well equipped and the decor welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again and look forward to future trips.

We had a wonderful stay at WeiJian’s place with 2 kids and 2 adults. Place is clean and comfortable and there are shops and restaurants below. Host is very responsive and friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Love the unit. Comfortable and spacious. Good view of the neighborhood. Within stones throw to southkey mid valley mall. Food, entertainment, shopping all taken care of there! Enjoyed the swim at the pool too. About half the length of an Olympic sized pool. Will try to book again if my wife and I are in town!

As per advertised. Host proactively shares places of interests and local recommendations. The apartment is cosy with added stuff to make it more homely. Toys, Legos, Story books, toilet seat for kids, stool, water dispenser, and a sufficiently equipped kitchen indeed made our stay more fulfilling. Thank you Nook Homes :). Had an absolute wonderful stay. Unit: Exact match of what is shown in the pictures. Spotless clean. Bed linens, towels, toilet and living space are really clean. Had everything ready including toiletries for a ready stay. Wifi provided is super fast. Shower pressure is also strong for an enjoyable bath. Multiple aircon units with a ceiling fan in the living space. Unit comes fully equipped with many electronic appliances and kitchen ware including a game console for kids. Host: Very responsive, replies almost instantly to clarify any queries. LC is also very hospitable, was suprised that she even provided welcome snacks (plus point). Location: Literally walkable distance to Bigbox (5mins) and nearby eateries. Regretfully stayed for only one night, yet to immerse and enjoy the cosy unit fully. Will not think twice about staying here if i were to visit this area again. Overall fantastic unit and fabulous host. Highly recommended.
